Watt was excellent in the first half and a bit quieter second half. Odonnell did well but I thought welsh was exceptional all game.
Defensively we are looking quite good….. first time I’ve uttered this since about 1995

Welsh is exactly the kind of central defender we were needing and has been performing well.

Even without Slattery and Just, the midfield was excellent again, and Watt edged it again for me.

Will be interesting to see what JBA does next week without Welsh. Start Koutroumbis and play him or SOD out of position, or start with Balmer.

Would be nice if we could sign him in January instead of having him on loan.

He's under contract until the summer of 2027, unfortunately.

Could easily have went for Watt or Welsh but thought O'Donnell looked assured all game with some nice touches in tight positions and going forward  unfortunately the latter didn't come off.

Whole defence looks fairly solid recently, pity Welsh won't be available at Celtic.

Ap Stam put a great shift in but a lot just didn't come off for him, hopefully things will start to click for him.

Went for Welsh. He was solid.

I didn't think we were particularly good today, but the team still put a shift in, and kept their nerve in the latter stages, which was especially important with the lack of bench reinforcements that we have right now.

However, we wouldn't have had the chance to win it if Lazetic had taken that chance, and a lot of that goes down to Welsh, who didn't give up and recovered well enough to put him off.

O'Donnell had one header, under Pressure in the first half, back to Ward that was excellent
