Agree 100%. I guess that the SPFL, or whoever is behind this arrangement, simply doesn't care. A symptom of society in general; you only need to look at automated supermarket checkouts which invariably aren't user friendly.

Think right at the top it says no Hampden app = No ticket.

 

Not a great use of technology for the end user, the fans.

Yep, that’s what I’d do if the other people I’ve bought tickets for don’t have a smartphone. It’s very common to do this.

For the folk who have bought tickets. Does it show anything on the app about your purchase?

I’ve paid for tickets. It’s showing as coming off my visa. 

but no confirmation is shown on the app? I know the tickets won’t be there until the week before but I thought I’d get at least a message or email confirmation

No they won't be in the app yet, It says tickets will appear in the App a week before the game and the QR code on the ticket will activate on the morning of the game.

Thanks mate, what a pullava. I’d have thought they’d show some sort of confirmation to confirm youve bought them?

I never even got an email. 
the app is just empty with nothing under “my tickets”

remember the days when you used to keep souvenirs of cup tickets and stuff. I still have my 91 final ticket. Loses the same impact when you have a screenshot.

As you bought the tickets via your MFC ticketing account, you should’ve received a confirmation email from MFC. As others note, the tickets should appear on your Hampden app before the game.

I got an email confirmation of purchase from Motherwell. I'd check your email address on your Motherwell ticketing account just to ensure its correct and matches the one in the Hampden app. I'm sure it will be fine. I'm just one of these belt n braces sados.

I’m the same, I never got an email confirmation from them so I called them and they confirmed everything was ok. I’d still prefer an email right enough. 

I can’t fault Motherwell with this as this is all SFA related but this is a disgrace and they have shrugged their shoulders at older people who aren’t able to do all the online stuff. We are going to lose so many dedicated fans who end up saying “sod this it’s too much bother to get a ticket” 

they are an absolutely horrid organisation

I have said exact same to mates, same with concerts, no ticket stubs to look back on.   Reminiscing 30 years from now thinking what game was this QR code for? 🤣🤣

I’m in the same sort of boat. I spoke to the girl at first park and she’s said I should be able to just hold all the QR code tickets on my phone and scan folk in one at a time?
 

I’m hoping “should” means “can”

Will purchase them once discussed with the lads to see how many we need.

Carlsberg don't do dugs dinners on purchasing tickets.................

There was 5 sections available 2 me 'with 7 seats' available together. That was about an hour ago. I went with D5.

The Club need to let folk know how to deal....officially...with a situation like this? Also the Society should be pushing the Club to provide some clarification.  If,  as mentioned earlier, folk are being turned away and told to find someone with a smartphone then that is a disgrace and does not reflect well on our ticket office. You would think that every effort would be made to ensure anyone wanting to attend the game can do so. 

I get this is being driven by the SFA but our Club and our Society should be addressing the issues that are clearly of concern to fans looking to go to the final. The info that was provided in the press release and the off the cuff advice from the ticket staff seem to be at odds. The instructions do confirm tickets can be transferred but only to people who have also downloaded the App.  No mention of one phone with multiple tickets being acceptable. No mention of children.... or others...who do not have a smartphone. Lessons to be learned here.

When I go to D5 it says my account not available for that section.  Absolute farce.  Hopefully one of lads can get them.

Would hate to be on switchboard at fir park, can imagine it being a tad busy
