What always pisses me off is whenever we get to a final it's the OF waiting on us (1991 excluding)

Since we last won in 1991. There have been winners who didn't face the OF.

Winners:  Scottish Cup: Hearts faced Grena , St Johnstone faced Hibs, ICT faced Falkirk, Dundee Utd faced Ross County, Kilmarnock faced Falkirk. League Cup: Livingston faced Hibs, Hibs faced Kilmarnock , St Mirren faced Hearts, Aberdeen faced ICT.

If we get to the final it will be my 6th and we will have faced the OF in 5 of them.

Aberdeen beat Celtic to lift the Scottish Cup 6 months ago.

It can be done......

You need to actually be in the final to have a chance of lifting the cup and we won’t be because we won’t get past St.Mirren.

I assume you're not going to the game then, as that sounds like a waste of a ticket.

Absolutely no assumptions being made here.

But the point was made that we havent been winning finals since 1991 because we always come up against one of the ugly sisters and other teams that have won trophies in that time by luckily avoiding them.

Just pointing out there has been an outlier.......

And you can add Dundee Utd, Hearts & Hibs to the list of post '91 winners who beat an Old Firm side in the Scottish Cup Final. Specifically, Rangers, for all 3 of them.

Not forgetting Raith Rovers & Kilmarnock in the League Cup.

Response from SFA today @ 13:00pm

Hi, thank you for your enquiry.

Tickets for the weekend games are being worked on by the clubs at the moment.  Once they confirm to us when they want their ticket allocations added to the App, this will be actioned and you will receive a separate email to confirm your tickets are ready.  This process will be completed by the end of this week.

Thanks for that update. I've been trying to understand a technical reason why a ticket bought through a club isn't immediately visible in the Hampden app.

Guessing data not transferred in real time from one t'other.

Technological change and inovation is only effective when it improves the user experience, makes life easier, better, more convenient etc. I'm not convinced this ticket process meets any of those criteria for every supporter.

Totally agree. If anything it’s making a stressful environment even more stressful.

I’m just concerned we’ll get to Saturday and the 5 tickets I’ve bought for folk without smartphones will hopefully be on my phone for me to scan them in. If it was just me then I’d deal with it but I’m responsible for 4 others getting into the game.

Sadly, if it makes things cheaper for the commercial entity involved, then all that other good stuff you've mentioned often just goes out the window.

This is my concern as I bought 10!!, will get them transferred and have my 2 mates come in with me.

Stressful though, going to be nervous enough at the game

To be fair, there are complaints about paper based ticketing too (price of postage, lost in mail, having to collect from office, copies and fraud etc.)

The biggest challenge is almost always the transition period between the old and the new technologies. That takes some expertise and additional support resources - neither of which appear to be in abundance at the SFA.
