weeyin
Will be interesting to see what Celtic do in January. Do they back Nancy and let him spend to try and win a league title? Or sit on the fence in case they need to punt him too? Given the politics of the situation, I imagine their Board would be much less unhappy conceding the title to Hearts than they would see it end up at Ibrox. Dream scenario for us is winning both OF games while Hearts are losing. More realistic for now is we are in a fight to hang on to 3rd and then see what happens after that. They may recall Welsh, he's loving it at Motherwell, still a shoulder scare that probably needs pinned, but Nancy wants 3 CH and they don't have any depth there, they may take coaches advice and sign one depending on who didn't rate Welsh at Celtic, John Kennedy rates him highly. That isn't going to appease the Mhob. They will be demanding the spending of many pounds (or Euros).
wunderwell Posted yesterday at 12:12 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 12:12 AM Okay team time! Ward Koutroumbis McGinn Welsh Longelo Watt Fadinger Slattery Charles Cook / Said Stama Just
mio Posted yesterday at 09:23 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:23 AM I’ve got a feeling ODonnell will be back in place of Koutroumbis. I feel rangers main threat is height in the box for set pieces. ODonnell will give us that and a bit more of a presence than JK. unless we decide ….. fk it let them worry about us and go at them. Which I wouldn’t put past JBA. in Jens I trust

I would also start Said ahead of RCC

mio Posted yesterday at 10:58 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 10:58 AM He might play big Gordon as well as he’ll have to come in against Celtic. He’ll need some game time

Stuwell2
Rangers have been vulnerable at home this season and are a poor squad but I think under their new manager they’re starting to get better so I’m not overly optimistic about getting anything today and sadly I can’t see a 2 or 3 goal defeat - hopefully I’m wrong. Richie
Yeah, I'm trying to temper expectations as well. Ibrox always a difficult place to go. We need to try and get control of the game early on. No doubt Chermitti will turn into R9. Definitely cause for optimism though. I'm probably more confident about Celtic at Fir Park.
MJC
If we’re going to get anything from either of the next two games then I reckon it will be today. It wouldn’t surprise me if Celtic drop points at Livingston today, sack Nancy, bring back O’Neill and they’ll be completely galvanised when they come to Fir Park. Kmcalpin
As always, anything we take from this game, or next Tuesday's, will be a bonus. Although we're playing well, we shouldn't get carried away.

Although we're playing well, we shouldn't get carried away. That’s true it will be a bonus but at the same time it’s this outlook that has hampered us against both of them in recent years. We’ve basically just shrugged our shoulders and written these games off. I don’t think we will do that under Jens regime but unfortunately I just don’t think we will be clinical or streetwise enough to get anything either today or on Tuesday. AllyMax
I'm going all MJC today and predict a 2-1 defeat with one dodgy penalty for them and a controversial booking for one of their players in the first half which should have been a straight red. My old man always used to tell me (back in the 70's) that you had to beat them 3-0 to get a draw. Ironically, we beat them a lot more often back then. Having made that depressing prediction, I'd sell my granny for a win today 😄

joewarkfanclub
I just want us to go there and impose our game on them and prove that we can. After that, I will take whatever result comes our way as there will be other factors that will determine the result over and above what we do.
