Choice of SoDs and Welsh for me.   Went for SoDs, he was immense and just shaded it for me

Thought SoD played well as did most of the others. Just and Thor when he came on and Welsh what a goal do you think he likes playing for Motherwell?

The choice is between the goal by Welsh or the dummy by SO'D. I have to go with the goal just 'cos of the timing of it.

Went for Welsh but O'Donnell close. 

Both solid defensively but Welsh's goal and GIRFUY celebration swung it.

SoD and McGinn played well, Priestman had an excellent half, but Welsh gets my vote.

Was surprised to see some comments on match thread suggesting Slattery should be substituted.  I thought he was immense in both and attacking and winning the ball back.  Sure not everything he tried came off but to continue to try seems to be the philosophy of the manager which Slats and the other players are thriving on.

I went with McGinn. Actually although he didn't have loads of saves to make, Ward had an excellent game in terms of positioning stopping chances even occurring. At the front end, Slattery was the pick of the bunch...

It gets more and more difficult every week when we are so dominant. 

I went for Welsh for the goal, but even that was from a great cross and a great knockdown.

SOD was very good tonight and Fadinger was excellent until the red card.

But Stephen Welsh was outstanding. Dealt with everything that came his way and scored a cracking goal.

The adulation for him at the end was lovely to see. Pretty sure he never experienced that at Parkhead!

I thought he wasn’t at his best from a distribution pov but he certainly didn’t hide. He was up for this game and got stuck in probably the most involved  I’ve ever seen him be.  So big gold star for that but my MotM is Sods, having a great season.

Tough one but Paul McGinn for me Made some vital tackles and interceptions to keep us in the game

Went with Welsh as that goal with live in my memory a long time. Mcginn Odonnell, Fadinger were excellent as well but a special mention to our little Rolls Royce Priestman. When I saw him on at half time he just looked tiny in amongst that Rangers/st mirren select land of the giants midfield, but he absolutely strolled it. Love the wee guy.

Agree with that Tex.

He was very good up until his final pass.

There were a few he delayed just a little too long and were intercepted, or took the wrong option.

He really doesnt like to pass with his left foot.

Aye, on reflection it would maybe have been more sensible to start him and bring Watt on for the last 30. Oscar really isnt much of a downgrade and more than makes up for any percieved deficiencies with his engine. I love our midfield this season.

Went for McGinn, a little surprised by the votes for SOD, very poor for the goal, and Welsh, big mistake in 1st half that should have put us 2-0 down. Admittedly they both played well apart from those big mistakes. On the Slattery debate, he kept showing but man did he give the ball away a lot.

Tempted to give it to O'Donnell for that stepover and pinpoint pass over the top to JT. That was a moment of sheer class 😁
