Yes the team selection was questionable re Connely , RCC and maybe Bjorgolffson , for me Ward, Slattery and Said should have started. But that said the game was ruined by incompetent fuckwit refereeing and Var decisions, and yet there is no accountabillity for any of these arseholes.

So do i blame JBA no, as we have shown how well we can play when he has rotated the squad before, its the useless c***s officiating that are culpable

Rare to play a team 5 times and not lose one.

Also thought Aberdeen gave us a harder match at the weekend than Rangers, Hearts or Celtic at Fir Park.

And again our away record is not the best.

Still, this feels like a big opportunity thrown away.

You wonder if foreign coaches maybe don't understand the importance of cup competitions in this country.

Utter nonsense.

Clutching at straws for dear life trying to blame the officials when we didn’t start our strongest 11 in the first place.

The officials did not cost us this game, both red cards were correct decisions going by the rules of the game.

The more i think about Gordons contribution tonight the angrier i get. 1 down with equal number of players and he goes and does what he does.

Hows that tackle or foul whick knocks our player down, different to Priestmans?

It's no surprise gordon played in the pumping in the semi final either, the guy is brutal.

I thought that as well, but the more you see the 1st red, the more it looks like Connelly is getting there before Cameron. Doesn’t get JBA off the hook though, he’s been absolutely great but this is at his door.

Possibly, but we saw strange team selections in Cup games by McCall, McGhee and Kettlewell when they were with us so maybe it’s a deeper rooted issue at the club that we don’t fully emphasise the importance of doing well in cup competitions to various players and managers.

Can blame Beaton and VAR all day but it's nothing but clutching at straws. Both by the letter of the law were red cards caused by our own doing. Really disappointing.

Red cards yes. The first one we cant blame our own doing. It was a slip by a player every one of us would trust to be put into the starting line up. Losing a man & goal so early to a slip is what set the tone.

Our own doing however was not having the ability to draw even when Aberdeen went down to 10 men & then shooting ourselves in the foot.
