Stephen O'Donnell was excellent today, but I've gone for Slattery; not once did he go down and he was getting a bit of treatment from Utd.

slats is putting in a ton of work nowadays and looked like he wanted a goal today maybe get a few the next couple of games.

For once there were a few not in contention.  SODs and McGinn were solid - gave it to SoDs due to his entertaining rampaging. 
had he finished the on-two with Ward it would surely have been the longest one-two goal ever. 
As others honourable mention to Slatts.   He stayed on his feet even with some rough tackles where it would merit going down and would have nicked it if his curling shot had gone in.

No great stand-outs, no great failures. Went with Just because he oozes class but I could make a case for four or five others.

Went for O'Donnell. Energy levels unbelievable. Made so many runs forward without taking away from his defensive responsibilities.

Slattery, Said and Maswanhise also impressive.

Bjørgolfsson also looked a handful when he came on.

Took the easy route with JT for the two goals. 

There were plenty of options to choose from though. Slattery was very close to his best, with his interplay with the front three almost generating some goal of the season contenders if the final pass had come off. Said was really good in the first half, and Watt was back to his pre-injury self.

O’Donnell he was every where left, right and centre forward for a bit.

Thought Fadinger was very good. But given how critical I was of him last week, Ive voted for Slattery. Worked really hard and cut out any nonsense, including the lazy passes he is prone to playing. Everything he did was positive. He can enjoy his Saturday night knowing he was a very good team mate!

Thought Welsh was different class today .. he reads the game so so well ..

His effort to get back goalside near the end to keep the clean sheet was immense. As was Manny's tracking back during the same move! Great teamwork! 🧡❤️🧡

Welsh's pass to set up what should have been JT's hat trick was sublime.

A few contenders today but I plumped for TJ, given his match winning contribution and the fact that United targeted him from the off.

Long shot I know but him n Watt as our players n Welsh as a tic player all from a title winning Well side?

Outside chance, but has a long relationship with Clarke, so possible.

Hickey injured (again) so SO’Ds wouldn’t be the worst choice to, at least, provide cover in squad and maybe persuade SC to adopt a similar expansive passing game.
 

on other hand I’m quite happy if all Well players get a chance to rest rather than play meaningless friendlies.

Id take SOD over Ralston right now.

I think both players have their limitations at international level but at least SODs is getting plenty gametime this season.

Ralston barely features at Celtic these days with Arajo and Donovan ahead of him. When Johnston comes back he will be even further down the pecking order.
