Wilson isn’t “hanging about” as far as I’m concerned, he’s a valuable squad player who can cover for injuries or suspension’s and come in when others tire or the defence needs added to during a game. I really don’t get this obsession some people have to get him out the door. OK he needs to improve a bit to be a first pick player but he’s still a useful player to have and could still become a first choice player in time.

Nah, but the fairplay regulations seem to be hampering any progress that they are trying to make (whilst Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool etc seem to be able to spend what they like). Of the team that won the Europa League they have lost Martinez, Digne, Konsa, Tiellmens, Rogers, Watkins. That puts our troubles into perspective.

Maybe this is why Wilson is still hanging about though cause Longelo is expected to leave. The one thing we do not need to do is to sell to any other club in Scotland. Fine if they go south or abroad, but not the arse cheek, like we used to. Weakening our team to assist these two parasites.

And if the player excels in year 2 we will trigger the option which increases his market value should we decide to sell when the going is good. Compared to how we are placed if a player is in the final few months of his contract and playing well. Also suggests to me that we are looking to sell players who excel towards the end of that two year period. For maximum gain.

Be interesting to know how much we have spent so far as most undisclosed fees. I reckon at least 1.5 million so good to see club investing it and using a chunk of money we have received. Agree. It’s too late to get a replacement in. If teams want either faddy or longelo we will speak to you in January. JBA did the same with Maswinhese last year and we fought off suitors. if a player downs tools then the run the risk of no one coming in for them at all. i hope we can keep all three. All three are brilliant. I just think Maswinhese needs some confidence and finally can play without that mask.

For the 'Won't sell all our players', I think theres an assumed caveat that if we get silly money (Ie £7m for Just) we have to sell. Similarly, we are incrementally replacing, and in some cases upgrading on positions we've sold. You then have players agitating for moves. Paulsen IMO seems an upgrade on Ward Moormann is at least as good as Welsh (was on loan anyway). Hodge seems an adequate replacement for Watt (Who was apparently set on moving). I think the club justnmeant they wont throw the baby out with the bathwater and will suitably recruit.

On the Longelo rumours front, Rangers have denied interest in signing him but another rumour has surfaced that Celtic are interested in him. Unless he’s seeking a move, I hope the board reject any and all offers for him. We should absolutely not be selling our best players to any teams in Scotland.

We are in the position were we really dont need to sell anyone unless its ridiculous money so we hold all the cards. Out of all the players really hope we keep hold of Longelo still have a year left plus club holds option of another year he is only going to get better.
