  1. Past hour
  2. That’s football for you - all about opinions.😉
  3. Delighted with those 3 points , should really be 6 this week. Well deserved and could have been a few more Nice to hear Stand up and Sing for Motherwell again , met Stevie Kirk as well in the club shop so happy days today
  4. Thought Girdwood-Reich was excellent at the back and was harshly given a bit of stick for passing it back nearer the end of the game. Thought Manny was unplayable in the 1st half but dropped off in the 2nd half. My motm though was Fadinger who was excellent all game and controlled the midfield
  5. Lucas for me, thought he was excellent and his penalty was immense
  6. We were all over them for most of the game, a poor 15 min spell in the 1st half but in all reallity we should have been 2 maybe 3 goals up at half time, we played great football and dominated them. St Midden offered feck all for the whole game , kick and chase hoofball, falling down at every opportunity, and constantly fouling and breaking up the play. We were the only team trying to win the game today and we got a well deserved 3 points, so all in all there was a lot to warm the cockles, a great performance, 3 points, and some key players back from injury.
  7. Aye, when I read the "turgid" comments I thought I must have been watching a different game.
  8. Really? I thought that is as well as we've played all season (finishing apart). Still room for improvement but I enjoyed the way we played today.
  9. Typically I’m away & we win ( before the usual where’s all the sack aj posters tonight kicks in ) fair play to him, he’s pulled a big result out the bag & sounds like it was well deserved hopefully we can kick on from this
  10. Thats as close to last years style than we've played all season, but still a long way to go. Girdwood-Reich had a decent enough game defensively but my god he takes any pace out the game.He slows it all down when we need to keep up the pace when pressing. Hodge has started to show a bit of drive and had a good game today. Maswanhise was piss poor, again.. We won the game in the second balls, we mopped up just about every one of then. The will to win it today was there for all to see. Good return for Priestman. Should have been far more comfortable but signs in last two games we might just be moving in the right direction.
  11. I said after the Hearts game he had to get at least 4 points from the next two and fair play to him he has. He got criticism on Wednesday for his substitutions but today he got them right and Charles-Cook who isn't exactly a favourite of mine deserves credit too because he won the penalty through putting the defender under pressure and he also had one particular run back the way in which he tracked his man and stopped what would have been a great chance for St.Mirren People will say it's only papering over the cracks and I probably would have been the same but as I said on Wednesday night the players are clearly all still behind him Well done to them all today and hope they enjoy the 3pts.
  12. Today
  13. Better team by miles especially in the first half. But it looks like they don't communicate with each other on the pitch. Bit strange that.
  14. Easily the better team, deserved to win it. A good break to get the VAR call but we were due something. Time to kick on now. Priestman was everywhere & hopefully mcginn can stiffen us up Mon the fuckin well!!!
  15. That was down to the ref being a dick - guy totally hates us.
  16. Girdwood-Reich has been my player of the match two games in a row now. Really starting to see the best of him.
  17. Special mention to Poulsen at St Mirrens last minute corner. Great clearance under pressure! Well done.
  18. Barry Ferguson would’ve lost that game.
  19. Good to see Priestman and McGinn back
  20. Thank god for that, well deserved. Hopefully we’ll see a different side now. I seen enough over the past 2 games to think we can do ok, just need to build a bit of confidence
  21. Not a lot to warm the cockles today but we take the points and importantly a clean sheet and move. It takes some of the pressure off the players and importantly the manager who I thought got the balance of the starting line-up wrong but recognised it needed changed and made the right changes at the right time. For me St Mirren came for a point. They defended very deep and in numbers and posed very little attacking threat but we didn’t have the nous to take advantage. We huffed and we puffed but the final pass just wouldn’t come. On a side note I can’t see why Palmer-Houlden gets into the side ahead of Bjorgolfsson who caused St. Mirren’s giant defensive orks more trouble in 15 minutes than Palmer-Houlden did in 75 minutes and was unlucky not to score from nothing.
  22. What a good feeling to get the 3 points. St Mirren defender had rush of blood to the head. Stick on PK. St Mirren didnt really offer much and thought we were, by far, the better team. We looked a bit more composed and a big plus to see Preistman and McGinn back on the pitch.
  23. Said again our main attacking threat. He seems to be back on form and smiling!
  24. I thought we were much the better team and should have buried them in first half - well taken penalty . very happy to see Priestman back - he and fadinger play well together
  25. Sometimes an ugly win is what it takes to get back on track. It's more fun when it's against St Mirren. Take your pick...
