  1. Today
  2. Except the Hearts and Rangers results were irrelevant, win or lose they were still playing some sort of European football last Thursday and next, Yes Hibs and or Motherwell could have been knocked out by now but they could still have covered their bases by arranging Aberdeen to play in Dundee and a reasonable East / West split of the other fixtures. The big question for me is why Celtic, a full 4 games into their season, felt that a postponement was required (and allowed).
  3. Fit in perfectly with our squad of crocs ....😁
  4. Mjc thrives on getting bites , wouldn't put much stock on anything he posts .
  5. Aye right we just put in a shift on Thursday playing one of the best teams in Germany/ Europe . Third of that with 10 men. It's a great idea to play Aberdeen 3 days later and have them kick and injure our fatigued team off the park. Your taking the piss . Well done.
  6. FFS have you not been watching the games n listening to the manager in his pressers about injuries and managing players to prevent an even longer list of injuries? Clearly you’ve had your black out shades on n ear plugs in and just want to winge about a negative again. Cancellation was the best decision for me, every other team has done it so why should we put ourselves at a disadvantage for the Freiburg game. CMYW!
  7. So whoever programmed the "super computer" would have to correctly guess that Hearts would fail in the CL and EL, Rangers in EL, and both Hibs and Motherwell would get through two rounds in the conference, to all end up in the conf playoffs, aye ok then. I hope he put a coupon on and is enjoying himelf somewhere warm and sunny.
  8. Just one more variable they could have put into the fixture super computer before the season even started. As it was agreed all clubs competing in Europe could postpone thus round of fixtures, they could have scheduled the head to heads on this weekend
  9. The authorities often get things wrong, but allowing teams to prepare and give them the best opportunity to compete and win in their play-off rounds is not one of them. You don't have to go too far back in time to see your thoughts about our performance against Stenhousemuir.
  10. Common sense did prevail, the club decided to postpone todays game to allow the players to have a full week of preparation to prepare themselves for probably the most important game in its recent history, a chance to make the group stages of a European tournament and the financial rewards that brings.
  11. Aye I know Willy's feet are too big for him to be compared to twinkle toes Don Goodman.
  12. Garbage . The entire team needs a break. Your phobia for all things Europe is showing.
  13. With the added bonus of getting a right good moan in after watching a team of youngsters and knackered senior players take a doing.
  14. If common sense had prevailed then it would be being played at 3pm today. It was a nonsense that we postponed it this weekend in favour of ā€˜Europe’.
  15. There's not much else they could have done. We don't have any available Friday nights or weekend dates to move it to.
  16. I really don’t think they give a flying fruit bat in general for the ordinary fans so I’m not really surprised, sadly.
  17. This fixture understandably has had to be rescheduled however the revised date of Tuesday 15th September with a 7.45pm kick-off makes me wonder if our football officials are trying to destroy our game. It will be a round trip of nearly 6 hours for Aberdeen fans who choose to come down for the match. To arrive in time for kick-off, they’d have to leave around 3-4pm and wouldn’t get home until well after midnight. Now I know it’s not easy to fit-in rearranged fixtures, but would it not have been better to have arranged this game for say a Friday night? This might just as easily have been an away game for us so I’d be interested to know what others think.
  18. I'll give Willy patience and time to come good but on first impression he's no Don Goodman.
  19. You got that one right 🤣
  20. Yesterday
  21. Spot on. Footballers in general have very well developed thigh and calf muscles but not all of them have a good upper body strength - the central core. I’m not suggesting that players get ripped and have six-packs but they do need to do some serious gym work to build-up their core and upper body strength.
  22. Toulouse beaten 2-0 at home by Lyon tonight in their opening fixture. That Askou didn’t know how lucky he was at the ā€˜Well. they did play reasonably well right enough by all accounts.
  23. My mates at every home game have head in hands muttering FFS. Due to me cracking another joke 🤣🤣
  24. Nobody will convince me Vogt is a player, out of all players mentioned above, Higdon, moult, Cowan etc etc ….. they’d all proved themselves prior to coming to us. I’d never boo any of our players though, absolutely never. I will however put my head in my hands and say nothing or mutter quietly to myself ā€œfor fks sakeā€!!! I would love it if he proved my initial take as wrong but I do see Willy moving on loan as soon as we get players back fit or another attacking player is added. and I think the players don’t rate him either…. The general looks and moaning at him when he’s on doesn’t fill me with our players having much confidence in him.
  25. For Vogt I really hope the fans don't start getting on his back as that doesn't solve anything. If we get right behind him then hopefully the confidence builds though granted he needs to be showing us more. I hated the abuse SOD got a few years back from some and now look at him, he's that confident he has a new floppy hairdo! 🤣🤣 So remember Vogt is wearing the well top so he is.........Oor Willy.....Your Willy.....Abody's Willy 😁😁 COYW
  26. Our defense looking pretty good, our midfield looking pretty good, surely we can get one or two of the forwards on our books to start scoring? AP, Hendry, Thor, JT, RCC, new guy.
