  2. I think Maswanhises value will have reduced considerably since January. He's was over hyped in January but equally we don't want to over hype the other way with the drop off. If we got a bid of around £1 / £1.5 million for him Id take it. Sadly I think we will lose one of Watt and Just , possibly even both if the bids were high enough, which would be a real pity. However this gives us a chance to see the managers transfer skills to find players that would fit his style. Thats if he stays of course 😱

No we won't. Because the attempt to cheat was picked up at the time and dealt with properly. The referee and officials were not conned by Cartwright's attempt at cheating and there was no advantage gained by Falkirk. So in that respect it was nothing like the Slattery incident. Whether we like it or not, Slattery was dealt with as others have been who were found to have gained their club an advantage by cheating ( additional suspended 2 games aside). Plenty of examples. And not just with players of so called wee teams. Hearts and Rangers spring to mind. Nowadays VAR should mean that incidents are dealt with in game time, ensuring no retrospective bans. That is the real failing of the system as far as Slattery is concerned.

But he bar has been set at a 4 game suspension for that kind of cheating, so that needs to be consistently applied now, no?
  5. Jonesy

He was dealt with on the pitch - 2nd booking and sent off. The compliance officer doesn't need to get involved.

  8. He might be OK, but for me, if you're a decent guy, that decency shouldn't disappear when you're inside the OF bubble. If anything, it should be even more apparent.

Can we now expect Henry Cartwright of Falkirk to be cited by the compliance officer for bringing the game into disrepute by blatantly diving. If a penalty had been awarded, a player would have been sent off and the game could have been won by cheating. Will John McGlynn comment?
  10. That could be a very tricky and awkward position for him to be in. Unfair on the player. It shows the risks with loans.
  11. Yes this is my thoughts too . well done Ox Neil Lennon has had some serious abuse up here in the past, but remember even our manager at the time Craig Brown saying he is a decent guy
  12. I don't mind Lennon, take him out that old firm bubble and actually a decent guy. Delighted for Ox, well done big man
  13. Actual was really pleased for Lennon today he looked a bit overwhelmed about it all . Probably different being a manager with the Pars and getting to the Final than a player with the manky mob.
  14. The first time I went there was the early 70s and I was amazed how much better it looked than FP, whose toilets were medieval by comparison. All the best to The Ox and The Pars. Looks like Falkirk's prodigious luck this season (mainly against us, IMO) finally ran out. It's a wee shame for them soanitis 👹.
  15. Always good to have a Plan B.
  16. Pity about having Lennon as a manager, but also pleased to see Ox and Dunfermline get to the final. Always enjoyed my trips to East End Park.
  17. When the Bairns go up to lift the Scottish Cup, I'll be deid, I'll be deid....
  18. Yeh, I’m really pleased for Oxborough today, and get it right up the Falkirk fans.
  19. Delighted for big Aston. Pleased for Dunfermline too. Get it up Falkirk
  20. Falkirk motherwelling it in the semi today
  21. Still a Well player but great to see Ox into the cup final and outstanding in the penalty shoot out.
  22. Can just see us 5th and big Ox having a blinder to deny Celtic the cup win we need to get into Europe.
  23. Spot on Stewart gets banned from Hampden for speaking his mind that upset the sensitive souls at the SFA, yet 10's of thousands of uglies fans spout their bigoted sectarian bile on a regular basis and its radio silence from the SFA., a disgrace of an organisation.
  24. Standard operating procedure within the SFA when dealing with the ugly sisters.
  25. He’s looked better than Ngwenya so far
  26. Chilokoa-Mullen having a good game for Dunfermline at Hampden today. Only 21 and out of contract this summer.
