  2. Bevis gave 100% every game and came across as a really good guy to have around the club. A very likeable guy who's built like an absolutely brick s&*t house. His situational awareness for me was the issue. He wasn't always aware of what went on around him, opposition able to drift behind him with relative ease. Thus his timing was often off, which simply cost us goals an all too often basis. To be fair had be been consistent he'd have left the club 3 years earlier akin to likes of Kipre. Good luck to the big man.
  3. It's in the link on the story on Facebook and twitter. It doesn't say.
  4. Yesterday
  5. There's an post on Facebook that confirms he has. No idea how much we get or how it'll be split. Edit: it's on the official site too
  6. How do we know that Liam Kelly has signed on until after the Euros? I've seen references to this but can't find the official source. How much is it worth? Presumably we'll split any monies received with Kelly himself.
  7. Yeah. Glad to see he's signed on till after the euros so we can get some cash.
  8. Reports of Kelly's Motherwell demise were slightly premature, then.
  9. I think he's had more than most to be fair. I do hope he does well though
  10. Do you know were any birds nests are.
  11. Yeah you do have a point, but let’s face it, every single defender in Scotland has a catastrophic clanger in them, hence the reason they play in Scotland. i think Bevis will go and become a regular somewhere and do well. Just my view tho and I appreciate others don’t feel the same.
  12. Mugabi is one of those players that often has a really good game and then just makes a catastrophic clanger. Unfortunately he's never really managed to eliminate that from his game.
  13. Yes in the days when the atmosphere was a lot better.
  14. I'm sorry to see Bevis leave but I agree that consistency was never his strong point. On his day he's a brick wall but when off it could be partial to the odd error or two. That said, the back line being shuffled and changed week in week out last season can't have helped any of our defenders. The defence as much as any other department on the park requires a level of consistency in terms of selection. Allowing the players (the centre halves in particular) to forge a partnership and understanding. Much like we saw with Hartley and Aldred, Casey and Butcher before Butchers injury. We need to see a more settled back line next season if anything.
  15. I don't agree re Casey. Mugabi was good when he was on his game but when he was off he was a bombscare. He's the weakest out of the defence in my view. He gave it everything for the club but I don't think he was good enough.
  16. thats exactly it , hes no better than the day he arrived and could never show any consistency.
  17. Correct decision and best for all concerned that Bevis moves on. Best of luck to him for the future.
  18. That's why I asked earlier because another poster said he wasn't offered a new contract but the official site said different
  19. You're wise! Sorry, couldn't help myself.......
  20. Maybe a little harsh on some aspects, but his slack passing caused us a number of problems - I agree he improved later in the season. My main reason for a complete revamp is that sometimes it's just impossible to break that mindset that crept in across the entire defensive unit.
  21. Could bring him some sunshine……..
  22. With Adams in charge Would that be a wise move for him?...cue..........
  23. It was reduced terms one year deal ……was talking with Morecambe
  24. Why did it say on the official site that a new offer had been made?
