We can all relax - the bbc says we’re not selling him https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cpv7e3pnjw2o
-
I was and still am hoping for 2 additions today: a LB and a CB.
-
9 hours and counting
-
I almost spat my coffee out this morning when I heard the Engels bid was legitimate. The guy is a really average player.
-
When we do get round to selling any of our players, we have taken notice of the crazy signing prices that now seems normal. £17 million for Engels, £6m plus for Bowie. £5m plus for foreign unheard wingers and so on. Todays modern football prices are bonkers. No wonder ticket prices keep increasing.
-
If Ceptic can get £18m for a numpty like Engels, I would be holding the door open for him, with his bags packed.
- Today
-
Assuming Celtic sign a CB I think that's very likely. And from MON's comments yesterday it sounds like there is movement on that too.
-
Yeah I think it’ll probably be one in but who knows. The way it’s going, I do think it’ll be Welsh just because of jens’s comments about bringing in a player who can fit immediately into our system.
-
McGhee can play mid and Watt will be back later this month, so would be surprised to see any midfielders. If we bring in just one, I imagine it will be a CB - but who knows?
-
He would be able to take our penalties . However he would need to get in the team first and that would be a big ask for a limited player like him.
-
Yeah we are leaving it a bit late, hopefully some business is done soon. Maybe even another midfielder for rotation? We could possibly pick up arne engels as that’d be a steal for £18m
-
I am not worried about the transfer window one bit tbh about our players moving out it will take a seriously good offer for any of our players to go anywhere JBA has said nobody going anywhere and that's that!We don't need to sell anyone right now don't see the panic. We however do need cover at the back badly very very light hope we can get a couple in.
-
Hurry up and end this fkn transfer window!! It’s really stating to burst my chops. €3m euros is a nonsense, it then triggers the knuckle dragger old firm fans saying “buy him” “no brainer” …..which they definitely know about
-
Yep I honestly think Maswanishe will be staying til the Summer Hopefully those words dont come back and haunt me
-
My wish too. Graeme McGarry tweeting that despite more interest in TJ this morning, presumably from Anderlecht, that our club is standing firm as its too late to source a replacement.
-
We have had a wee bit of luck in the last two games. On another day Killie goal would have stood and that Livi boy slots away that easy chance and then both those games become very different. But after those scares we have gained total control in both and strolled it. I fully expect the same on Wednesday, just not the slow start please! Dundee have been probably the worst team I have seen at Fir Park this season. I know they have improved recently but so have we since the last time we played them. No manager in the country knows how to deal with our front three of Just, Tawanda and Said. They are running riot.
-
First 30 minutes we bossed them. If we had scored just one of our chances, in all liklihood, we would have won the game. And thats before we even start on the penalty. Revenge would be very sweet though. Ive heard its a dish best served cold! 😍😍😍
-
Anderlecht the latest team linked to TJ. That only leaves Hamilton Accies left to register an interest.
-
The only exception to this for me was, rather surprisingly, Rangers away. Not long to wait now until we get our chance for revenge.
-
Get a CB and a LB in keep hold of Maswanhise and we've had a very good window.
-
Only 15 hours to go. Fingers crossed for no outgoings. Only incomings!
-
The manager at Forest Green Rovers had this to say when they signed him on loan: "Reece is a really physical centre-back with good mobility. He’s a lovely footballer." So I'm assuming that means he can pass a ball. Would seem very unlikely JBA would want him otherwise.
- Yesterday
-
I don't know much about him he's only played 20 senior games of football at 22 so I'd be concerned about how ready he is. He's out of contract in the summer by the looks of it and is 6'6 so 1 with good physical attributes who we could potentially get permanently and sell on like we did with Kipre.
-
Its good for us to just keep flying under the radar right now. Just keep winning one game at a time and see where it takes us. It would be an absolute longshot, but I havent been to a game this season where I left thinking the opposition had been better than us, and that includes the semi final.
-
We have to dream. Can you imagine what it would feel like going into the split with a shot at the title. Something that seemed impossible 12 months ago. Still a very long shot but the fact the opportunity exists at all is miracle enough. The next two games could either kill the dream or keep it very much alive.
