Players can tell from how he runs his training sessions, how hard he works them, what he asks of them, and his tactical nouse how effective a manager he is. Aura and presence are definitely a thing, but they only get you so far. Yogi Hughes has aura and presence, but he would very likely immediately lose this squad of players after a few training sessions.

So using Rangers logic, Elijah Just must be in that bracket, so we should be looking for around £20m. 🤔

Lets be honest as Motherwell fans we should think that every player who has played for the club since 1886 is the greatest. But as we know thats not strictly true, so it would probably be easier to list the dross we have seen over the years. The criteria would also be easier ie "they were feckin hopeless as footballers" being the only one.

Therein lies the problem the other 10 Premiership clubs only look to their own self interests and are not going to rock the boat to address the issues. The premiership has the 11-1 voting criteria required before any changes can be made, which effectively means the ugly sisters can determine what happens and what does not to suit themselves. All of the other 30 clubs outwith the premiership dont really care what goes on as they dont have to use VAR, never play the uglies, never have to deal with the stadium damage etc, so they dont get involved Until the premiership clubs, mainstream media, Scottish Government, police Scotland etc start calling out these issues, nothing will ever change. The SFA / SPFL blazers will continue as the cozy wee self interested clique it is, travelling the world on their expense accounts desperately trying to get their big teams to like them.
