  1. A wee boy that volleys an equaliser from a bouncing ball in only his 2nd or 3rd game. A finish that Messi would be proud of. Efford has had half a game FFS. Today was depressing no doubt but some of the crap on here is well to be fully expected. Never met such a bunch of pant wetters in my life. We are still 4th and yes we will probably fall out of the top 6 before we get some (on paper) easier games. Reading the sh1te on here is more depressing than the result. I am a way back to P&B for some reasoned debate / chat.

  4. Griffiths? really. I cant believe some who I consider on here to be fair and reasonable contributors in a discussion would have him. He has what i can think of top off my head been shown to be a racist and engage in sexual discussions with 16 year olds plus every celtic manager in last 3/4 years has not had anything positive to say about him. I do not know anything about his mental health but his last manager Lennon has his own mental health issues and that did not stop him from slating him so that suggest to me something different to griffiths opinion. He is in my opinion a waste of space who whilst a good player in years gone by previously he has little respect for anyone as shown over the same years gone by He would split the dressing room and the fans and create divides all over the place with peoples opinions so its a no way from me.

  9. If only it was as easy as picking the uglies games we have been rotten for the last few games a mixture of GA stubborness to change his approach and the players not being up to the task . Unfortunately we have to go to the end of the season with the players on the books and a manager who can’t admit his faults . If that was us taking the game to them yesterday as he said in the press then heaven help us

  13. I've been pretty critical of the 4-3-3 but at least players knew their position. In last few weeks we've been all over the shop. No idea why Carrol has been brought back into the team. At one point it was obvious that a combo of Ojala, Solholm or Mugabi was our strength in the centre of defence. Be good to move back to that asap.

  14. Kelly but I thought that overall McGinley had a solid game especially in the first half.

  15. Spot on OTF and your comment was made before today's game. I'm not blaming solely Donnelly for the result or performance though. Our best players were Liam Kelly, the much maligned Nathan McGinley, and young Dean Cornelius. Our weaknesses today have been evident for a wee while. I know its hard to compare like with like due to the fixtures schedule but we now have the 3rd highest goals against tally in the league.

  16. He can’t persist with KVV as the 1 man up top. He Has to change to a more mobile player or a different system.

  17. Today was utterly embarrassing. I’ve said it before and will reiterate. There’s no shame in getting beat by a better team, the shame comes from how you go about it. We set up today without any real plan. we played 5 at the back but left massive gaps between the players. Mcginley and Carroll switched but couldn’t quite figure out how does what. In midfield, we constantly got caught the wrong side of the ball. Donnelly and Goss were the biggest culprits and it put even more pressure on a haphazard defense. Up top, we had an isolated Van Veen (who’s form is woeful at the moment) offering nothing. We simply had no out all or even a plan for what we wanted to do, to even alleviate pressure. Tactically shambolic. Second half, we started brighter, Efford and Tierney did okay but again we looked so fragile. The most deflating part was that we were blowing out our arse after 70 minutes. I’m sorry but that is one thing that isn’t acceptable. You can have better quality players with more skill but the one thing you should never be able to do in the same league is be fitter - and they were by a mile. The one outfield bright spot was Cornelius who played well but around him was pathetic. Simply not good enough Alexander. We have been shite since Christmas - devoid of ideas and now apparently a yard short of a team in the same division. But hey, at least we made 3M quid this year eh?

  18. Donnelly letting Hatate run off him at the first goal is a complete lack of effort.

  19. We’re defensively at sea for the most part because we can’t deal with their speed and movement, and that’s back to the quality of their players. It’s not about players not trying or not having a clue. The top level in Scotland is really two different leagues, Celtic and Rangers with huge resources, then the rest. The points difference at the end of the season tells us that. The new guy looks a handful
