  1. If the guy taking the throw hits an opponent with it, play continues. Doesn't say anything about the opponent being off the field of play - probably because we're the only team stupid enough to manage that.

  2. I don’t see how it was off either. Though if it makes Tom Boyd angry and upset then I’ll not complain!

  4. Yeah but you said we were in danger of getting cut off in the relegation zone, of which we are seven points clear. Our form is poor because we have had to play Rangers, Celtic, Hearts and high flying Aberdeen, 3 of which we lost by one point to. We have a really good run of fixtures after the World Cup. Do you know what, I guess it’s just if you’re a half glass full or a half glass empty kinda guy, and we are just on different ends of that.

  5. We are 4 points off the play off spot with the worst form in the league, an inexperienced manager and obvious defects as a team. Some teams above us have games in hand. I think it's fair to say if we don't pick up anything in the next two matches we are starting to look a little adrift in the bottom 4.

  6. He had a guy out wide for a quick simple pass the way he was facing. Don’t hold the ball in your area when under pressure.

  8. Its irrelevant whether his head moved or not,he walked right in front of Penny ffs and basically impeded his throw, oh and there was no way he was 2 yds away from penney, so the throw in should have been retaken and hence the goal was invalid, but when we have incompetent arseholes as VAR officials they see nothing wrong its a fekin joke.

  9. He touches the ball before it enters the field of play. That's enough to make it a foul throw. Are you a relative of Collum?

  11. Another thing I highlighted to my mates is the poor quality of our crosses and set pieces. We really need to improve in that area

  12. Just back in, we gave that a right good go 2nd half and you are right we were better without KVV, More pace up front from Shields, and especially when Moult and Tierney came on. As usual though we caused our own downfall and tbh Celtic were well worth the 3 points, but I actually thought we played well, pressed high and restricted the chances they got, Kelly never had a save to make. Against a team like Celtic who have a lot of pace any mistakes are punished as we saw with our throw in that hit the Celtic player who was not even on the park, and VAR saw no problem and 3 passes later we are 2 down ,another VAR fuck up. 1st half we offered nothing apart from KVV, missing an open goal again, we can't continue with him up front on his own, Moult needs to start on Saturday.

  13. I think he had one foot on the line so he’s in play

  14. Considering the injuries and enforced subs, we’ve actually done ok in my opinion tonight. Plenty of effort and we didn’t make it easy for them. I was expecting worse. i thought SOD was about our best player tonight, decent performance

  16. Deano for shields defo right move. I ain't a Sol fan but bringing Bevis in not exactly an upgrade. Anyway let's see what happens, majority of us going tonight with no expectations so hopefully we are all in for a major cheery surprise.....COYW

  17. We could field two teams and still get beat tonight

  18. I think that’s why you play Deano instead of Spittal. Yes, Spittal has 2 goals and 3 assists but maybe we will get more goals and assists and points with Deano winking possession and stopping the opposition

  19. No we shouldn't , you don't get points for what should have happened you end up in the league where you deserve to be.

  20. I never said it was all bad luck, maybe the untd and Aberdeen games we never got a break but the other 2 StJ and Hearts were just bad game management, where we got ourselves into points positions and fecked it up. In truth the same could be said for the Rangers game as well, bad game management at their 1st goal, that's our biggest weakness we are shit at it.

  21. He also thought we would lose by 4 at Tannadice and pretty much forecasts a defeat every week. Now there might be a little bit of self protection or reverse psychology going on there, but Id be depressed as flock if I thought there was absolutely no hope for us every game we played. Happy to admit that I have absolutely zero expectation that we will get anything tonight, but neither did St Mirren when they beat Celtic. These things dont happen very often in a season, but they do happen, and sooner or later it will be our turn. I do think the St Johnstone game is huge for us though after the run of fixtures we have had. I think we need at least a point to stop the rot and go into the break feeling ok about ourselves.

  22. Spot on, there are at least another 5 points we should have won, StJ (1) Dundee untd,(2) Aberdeen (1) all at Fir park and last Sunday at Tynecastle (1) so we really should be sitting on 21 points and 4th in the League. So we need to improve the home form drastically and learn to get more street wise, ie know when somebody needs to implement the odd professional foul and take a booking for the team as our current game management is brutal.

  23. Its ok Grizzly, I wasn't suggesting that you were. More of a comment on the relative perspectives of the different supports. We'll get a similar insight into that on Saturday.

  24. For tomorrow, I'd reinstate Dean Cornelius to give us some drive, mobility and energy in the middle. He'd also provide VV with better support than he's been used to. Tierney might be talented but, at the moment flatters to deceive and is a bit lightweight. He's also been playing too deep (instructions?) to be of much help to VV.
