Got to say I’m really disappointed in Kettlewell basically calling out Gent for his mistake which led to the equaliser yesterday . To clarify yes that was indeed the case but thought Kettlewell was above that kinda thing . That’s for the Martindales of this world .Also it’s for the dressing room or during the match debrief a few days later. 100% should have been kept in the dressing room . Noticed Spittal having a pop at him at the end as well . Ok players do that . How the manager naming you publicly helps in your development /experience learning curve god only knows . The young lad has been great since he came in . Enthusiastic ,energetic and a crackin left foot delivery. Probably a bit to learn on defensive side of the game but has loads of time on his side . I can think of a lot more senior players who have cost us wins/draws this season but don’t see him having a pop at them publicly . In fact not just this season but previous as well . So for me poor show . Radio Clyde played a clip of interview and by editing it , it sounded even worse . So for me Kettlewell cut that nonsense out . Your better than that irrespective of what people think about you as a manager . poor show .3 points

Nope not for me. Has been given so many chances to prove his worth and has failed miserably to take any of them hence being out on loan. Sooner he is off the wage bill the better.2 points

He's a poor manager, and that unnecessary comment about Gent epitomises his lack of managerial skills.2 points

One of my biggest bug bears is how long it takes us to decide a player ain't got it. Barry McGuire should have been moved on at least 18 months ago. It was the same with Stuart Carswell. 4 seasons with us and the max it should have been was 2. Bevis Mugabi coming into that category too. In his 5th year with us now and should have been moved on again about 18 months ago. Thankfully Bevis contract is up this summer however I've just got this awful feeling we will give him another contract. Mind you I don't think anyone will ever beat the 9 years Stevie Woods got. Consistently the worst Goalkeeper I have ever seen us have. He has no equal in the kind of fuck ups we endured from him.2 points

Kidderminster have realised what we already knew ie he's brutal, thats more deadwood for us to carry if he comes back this transfer window2 points

🤣🤣, yep pal agree and like I said earlier I have been a big defender of Spittal over past few seasons. His assists and goals record is very good. Still a key player and the poor man's Theo Bair 🤣🤣1 point

Frankly I'd rather we signed two players who will make a difference than three or four punts (not a spelling error, by the way). With Miller still to come back, don't know if I'd prioritise midfield. A centre back to keep Casey out of my sight? Maybe but a pacy right wing back would be my priority...1 point

yip to much time on my hands yodo, could you employ me yodo ? i am not very good at anything, but can type shite for scotland, thats why i was hoping you were looking for someone ,😁1 point

A disruptive divisive character who would cause mayhem at our club. People can point to the trophies he won at Celtic but anybody could have done that with their budget and lack of competition in Scotland at the time.1 point

As above no lack of ambition and I’m sure there are more than me who like to see him at Fir Park1 point

No pedigree...... in Lennons case you missed out no class, no managerial ability, no people who rate or like him, no Motherwell fan apart from you who wants him anywhere near Fir Park.1 point

Wow.. I never thought we would get away with paying them as little as that.1 point

So now we have freed up some cash for phase one of Operation Sulking Tulip, how soon before we hear about phase 2?1 point

Exactly. When I see people saying Maguire isn't the level we want from someone coming off the bench to help us see out games, I wonder exactly what kind of player those people think is willing to come to Motherwell to play that role. Not every squad member can be or has to be, an up-and-coming player pushing for the first team. If I was Kettlewell I'd sit down with the player and make it clear to him what his role at the club will be. A bench player who starts games when we're short of first-choice midfielders, but mainly someone who can come on with 20 minutes or so to go and help us see out a game. If he's happy with that role, I'd keep him around unless he's on first 11 wages. Again, we need guys like that. He's of the standard that a player fulfilling that role at a club like ours should be. Also, if the worst happens and we end up going down he's already got a Championship winners medal in his pocket, so he'll come in handy.1 point

Very poor show from both of them yesterday disappointed to say the least1 point

Was a mistake from Gent but for Kelly and Spittal to have a go really is pot kettle and black. I'll show a Spittal a video montage of his corners and free kicks this season then see how he likes it. As for Kelly I wouldn't criticise anyone after his past few months. SK should have criticised Bair also as he was slow to react after the poor clearance. Also SK is the man that thinks Spittal is a wing back, enough said. I am still backing SK and I have defended Spittal plenty of times but poor show from them yesterday1 point

I just don't agree. Every single time the ball goes near him on the deck I get the fear and it looks like he does as well. Personally think he is a horror show as a footballer!!!!!!!1 point

I was seriously begining to think I was watching a different guy with all the weeping and wailing about his departure on twitter and how great a signing he was. The guy was steady / decent nothing more, his form of late had dipped. He is only 19 and may well turn out to be a quality player but right now he's replaceable and that's SKs job to find a suitable replacement.1 point

Spencer I thought was great and then went downhill when weirdly he started playing on natural side. Need to get a replacement in as don't fancy SOD in that role but again not as bad as made out1 point
-
Oh, we will be looking. But that doesn't mean we're getting. I'd rather have a nobody from down south that knows the club, knows the players, can fit right in and we kind of know what we're getting, than someone brand new who we'd need to hand another contract to.1 point

I’m not sure why they try To hold the ball on the line. Just hammer it off the defender full pelt for another corner and repeat. Also after they get skelped with the ball the first time they are a bit more hesitant the next time.1 point

Would have taken a point before the game and it was probably the correct result over the piece, but it does feel like a boot in the baws in the circumstances. Injuries and suspensions continue to limit our options (and our chances) but the manager and the players continue to find ways to grind out results. Thats a good trait to have and the players are 100% still with the manager. Didnt fancy the line up when I saw Spittal at RWB and I think Hibs took advantage of that for the first 30 mins. But it was actually the manager switching Biereth back into the middle and Bair wide that seemed to change our fortunes. Immediately our press worked better and the shape of the team gave more natural protection to Spittal who was getting roasted. Great goal again from Theo and for the remainder of the game I thought we were far more competitive. Obviously we tired towards the end and the inevitible happened. I suppose the manager could have thrown some of the youngsters on, or even Nathan McGinley, but the ones shouting for that would be the very ones calling for the managers head had those changes resulted in the same loss of 2 points or even all 3! The amount of reactionary nonsense on here never ceases to amaze. We have now only lost 2 of our last 8 games and one of those defeats was to Rangers. We are well in the pack going into the break with a chance to get some players back fit and bolster the weak areas of our squad. Yes we have our deficiencies and the manager makes his mistakes. But the players are still with him. Maybe some of our supporters should be too!1 point

He was some player that KVV, kept a number of clean sheets, defended really well under pressure and not only scored, but created all his own chances.1 point
