I'd cheer the team spirit of GrizzlyG Always positive throughout the season and I hope the team give him the just rewards on Saturday. Terrible stand up comedian though....

Evening Folks Has definitely been a season full of up's and downs yet we still have a chance of Top 6 which is incredible. We are surely safe now as Ross Co would need to win 3 and draw 1 of last 6 games and us to get hee haw points. However in my opinion one thing that can't be disputed is the togetherness and close knit squad we have. You just need to look at the celebrations for the goals. From experienced pros like SOD, McGinn, Kelly.....to new signings Davor....Bair and Halliday to the loanees Gent and Vale and of course the other lads. They obviously like playing for Kettlewell and even when we were on a terrible run there certainly wasn't disharmony ( cue that Ross Co side we pumped 5-0) The interaction with fans and their genuine affection for the club is great to see. Let's get a big support on Saturday and give them all the encouragement we can. Yes it's still a big ask to reach top 6 but if anyone had offered you that in mid January you would have thought they were bonkers COYW

Nope They voted in principle to listen to what the investor had to offer and not reject anything out of hand. The vote wasn't to give up the majority shareholding.

Its everything else he may bring with his team of people and contacts. He will have far superior media execs, sponsor opportunities etc etc which can only be a good thing as well as putting us in the window. The only person ive seen touting the 1.5mil idea is Steelboy who im actually thinking is just a troll looking for reactions as he seems unhinged at any idea of Motherwell trying something a little different. I get the feeling he sits in a rage when we win 😜

When he came on at Dundee SOD did everything that Devine didn't. Suddenly the midfield had an option moving forward out wide other than Gent and Dundee were stretched all across the park. As a result Spittal started to contribute more, Bair had space to run into and Gent was not double marked. And Kettlewell deserves credit for making that change, despite the concern about SOD carrying an injury. His performances throughout the season have more than earned SOD another year.

Think that died of as a forum discussion when we had people suggesting we scored more goals with Stevie Woods in goal cause that had happened in Champ Manager.......

All we can do is focus on beating Hibs and just see how the other results pan out. Regardless of the other results, beating Hibs will be a big 3 points for us. Whether that gets us in top 6 or helps secure safety it would be a great 3 points for us.

I usually have steelmen open and will comment during games. Since I’m sitting watching it by myself most times it’s as close as I get to being able to talk about moments in the game as they happen.

Thems the rules. Just to clarify though that there are 2 distinct categories of "non payers". Those who fully paid the original target sum eg Steel membership level in one lump sum or several smaller lump sums and secondly those who were paying by monthly instalments and stopped. To a large extent, this arose because of widespread confusion and ambiguity when the Society changed the subscription system to monthly sums, whether or not you had fully paid up the initial sum in full.

Looking forward to that one being played at Airdire behind closed doors.

Its kind of a reflection of where society is now. Too many want instant gratification. For all the positives of social media, this is the huge negative. Football has always been an emotional game, but back in the day you just vented your frustration at the match or disected the performance over a pint with your mates afterwards in the pub. Now everyone has the ability to publish those thoughts immediately and thats not necessarily a good thing. Not a big fan of posting during a game as Im usually too engrossed in it to be bothered with my phone. It is good to debate things before and after though, particularly for those of us who dont live in the local area and dont meet any other Motherwell fans on a day to day basis.

This is as good a place as any to say what the ws has achieved and going forward ( without investment) what it can achieve..

That would be great. I know money talks but he would be best staying with us for a few years and getting game time

I went to a Well Society meeting years about expanding to a 14 team league with a 6-8 split. At the beginning of the meeting virtually everyone in attendance was against the proposal. Two hours later due to bullshit, lies and spin from Leeann Dempster everyone in attendance apart from three people voted for it. With a straight face she told the meeting that the 12 team league set up with 1 relegation place and 1 playoff place that we have now had for 10 years would put the viability of the club at risk and that auditors would refuse to sign off on our accounts. Time has showed that she was lying through her teeth but in the meeting there was no way to argue against her. The side in favour of American ownership has the backing of the individuals currently controlling the club and the PR resources they can muster. At the moment no one has stood up and made a case for the fan ownership and what it has achieved over the past seven years. If that continues it's pretty much guaranteed the members will give the club away.

The ink is not dried yet. However, if it comes to pass, it would be a good bit of business and a boost to our Academy. Probably best for the lad's long term development too.

All I saw on here earlier in the season was that Bair and just about everyone else was shite and that Kettlewell should go. Not in disagreement but shame it's taken this long to realise what a good team and manager we actually have.

Got to laugh. People want the manager to quit at half time. Beat Rangers at Ibrox, what a few weeks ago? Eighth in the league, budget lowered, safe as houses soon. God help us if were losing 1-0 at half time against Hibs on Saturday. Morons can't even wait until full time anymore. Probably the same tadgers that get bored half way through a 10 second clip on Instagram.

That was the main reason I didn't think SK should be punted during our bad spell. The players obviously wanted to play for him and each other. That is always the best chance you have of turning things around. When a manager loses the dressing room, or when players start infighting, then it's pretty much over.
