Aberdeen game was decent, Rangers game was good, Dundee Utd game was great. All recent matches. I've been going for 40 years and it's always been the case that if you went to a Motherwell match it was more likely than not we wouldn't win or wouldn't play well. Motherwell are a team you support. It's not an entertainment event. You have to have the stomach for it and you have to have realistic levels of expectation. If you don't, Rangers and Celtic are just down the road. And of course the standard of the game has regressed massively over the time I've been going but that's mostly down to economic factors that extend across the whole of Scottish football and most other nation's football. It's not dross every week but it is a lot. That's just how it is and it's not going to change. So you either have to accept that or move on. Every single person here would love it if Motherwell played better football and scored more goals and won more games but that's not the reason you go.3 points

Decent result, if not performance. We've lost 2 in our last 8 and one of them was at Celtic Park. That's reasonable since we've played Rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen, Hearts, Kilmarnock away and Top 6 sides Dundee United and St Mirren.3 points

Said this for a few months now, desperate for it to work but he’s miles off it. So slow and can’t beat a man, very guilty at ball watching as well and losing his man3 points
-
Another game against a very average team and we continue with 30% possession and 1 shot at goal . i know many will point to the point tally etc but it’s absolutely atrocious approach to football .3 points

Watching this shitfest lying on my bed,20 mins in my mind wandered to pornhub, fucking hate myself.3 points

No denying Stuart Kettlewell is doing a good job with us. A very decent point and clean sheet on the road. That being said, I’d happily never watch one of his teams lineup ever again in my life.2 points

Every manager comes with their own faults or stubbornness. We know what SK’s issues are but I think we have done well getting him, rather than some of the other options who would take a job at Fir Park. I’m hoping he stays for a while and helps bring stability to the club, I’m fed up with the manager merry go round. We all know that, realistically, the best we can be is third. We are sitting pretty close to that at the moment, having beaten the current team in third, 3 times already this season.2 points

I just don’t see who would want the job and who would do any better than SK? And I’m not a massive lover of him but I think he’s a good manager for us. I’d love to hear some names of managers the people wanting SK out would pick? I asked this last year and the selection was laughable. Levein, Tommy Wright, Tam Courts, Yogi Hughes, Simo. go on let us all hear your suggestions.2 points

A lot of our players are looking jaded, lethargic and probably carrying niggly injuries due to this run of so many games in such a short period of time. Looks like they need a rest. Hope we can get Seddon and Stam back soon and with new signing maybe we can a bit of life back into the team. SK’s tactics take a lot out of players and we were just totally out of the game today. Huge gaps everywhere1 point

A good summing up. An important point for us. If Killie fans were booing then they should aim that at their own team. At the end of the day their team simply wasn't good enough to earn the win. Yes we were poor but I don't, in any way, feel remorseful or guilty that Killie were robbed by us. If the tables were turned they wouldn't ask the SPFL to give us the 3 points would they. They've done a Dick Turpin to us in the past. Thanks for the point Derek, bring on Hibs.1 point

This game was always going to be a shitfest tbh. Decent point, clean sheet and 3 points off 3rd.1 point

Never seen it but sounds like we were fortunate. The inconsistency from us is baffling but keeps a 6pt cushion over killie so happy enough with a draw1 point

Can’t believe we got a point. At one stage I was expecting about 5-0 defeat but hey………….. 2 clean sheets in a row !!!!1 point

Whenever we play Killie the game is absolutley stinking same with St Mirren none of us have a clue what to do when the other team concede the ball1 point

This right hand sides a real issue. That boys got Wilson on toast and Halliday just got completely mugged off there1 point

Already prepared myself for him being out for 4 weeks😒. Don't know if that will be with an injury or hypothermia.1 point

Killie have a problem tonight. Who to target in Lennon Miller's absence. My money is on Manwhanise.1 point

Every cloud has a silver lining. At least the sub zero temperatures will kill the weeds on the pitch.1 point

If you can tolerate Si Ferry, who is a total roaster, the first 40-45 mins of this are worth listening to. It’s basically Watt and Halliday discussing Motherwell, with a good few laughs and insights.1 point

It looks like the temperature at kick off is set to be around -5C. Fans are being asked to part with £27 (or £30 on the gate!) to sit outside in these conditions. Coming on the back of Christmas, and at the start of a run of consecutive away games, no wonder we have hardly sold any tickets.1 point

I can imagine the Valakari out, melt down on here if we had taken 2 points from 9 games. I find it extraordinary that the biggest critics of Kettlewell come on here and defend a manager who is regularly criticised for his tactics and team set up. Anyway we have 30 points after 21 games. Any Motherwell manager's first priority is to keep us in the league. In the last 10 years the highest points that have been in the play off is 36. (that's what we had in 2015) so with 17 games to go even if the total is higher this year we need three wins to achieve that objective.1 point

I wouldnt want rid of him, hes a young manager and he's doing fine. Is he setting the heather alight? No, but if he was he wouldnt last long. It would however be good to see him learn from mistakes and note just how poor & toothless we are when he sets us up defensivley1 point

I'd push for this as Moses is utter dung and we are short in the forward areas however, I can't see it happening. I know from a source at Morton that he was sent to them by us because he wasn't applying himself in training, which as we know by now and rightly so SK won't tolerate. Exit door more likely option for Stuparevic however hope I am wrong and he comes back and bangs a few in from January to May.1 point

Kettlewell is a decent manager for our level imo. I like the drive, enthusiasm and passion he's shown for our club and the job. He has shown that he isn't afraid to make tough decisions when it comes to recruitment in and out and also that he will stand up for our club and staff in the face of criticism. He won't get everything right but what manager does? Even old Fergie made mistakes in his career. Our league position is good and long may that last. Yes, the team can be inconsistent but that's what you get at our level and it's what keeps us coming back week in week out. Up the Well.1 point

Poor guy is 18 years old. Wonder if he's prepared to get slaughtered and labeled as 'shite' after his first ten minutes. Unless of course he has a 'Biereth' style impact, in which case the management and board will be labeled as 'oot their depth' for not getting him on a 4 year deal.1 point

We supporters get incredibly frustrated with useless officials but it must be worse when your job may well suffer due to incompetent refs. Kettlewell and the players prepare meticulously for each game only to find the plan ruined because the ref makes crazy decisions. I can fully understand Kettlewells annoyance as it must be so difficult to stand on the touchline and say nothing while the ref makes himself the centre of attention in every game. I just wish Collum would remind his refs that the best ones are those who go about their business quietly but efficiently and don't need to flash cards in order to maintain control.1 point
