No way the club are offloading a player we paid a 6 figure sum for without trying to re-hab him and recoup some of our outlay. It would be very poor business to do so. The 3 injuries he has had are all different, so to suggest that his body isnt equipped for Scottish football without any further knowledge or medical information is presumptious at best. Given that he has 2 years left on his contract he wont be going anywhere. Better to offload some of the players we already know are not up to the standard/fitness required for Wimmerball and give us options/support up front. The loan boys will be away with Armstrong the only one Id consider trying to get permanently. Also, I think we need to be careful with suggesting that his injuries are "convenient". He may well be finding it difficult to settle, but how do you fake having surgery and a metal plate in your wrist? We need to give the boy a break and all the support we can as a club AND as a support.5 points

Crowd yesterday over 6,000. Not sure what away support was but that was a very healthy home support. Though if you watch the motherwell fc Facebook channel you would think block e was the only section well fans are in. Before folk jump doon my throat that isn't a criticism of the Bois. I just get annoyed that every goal celebration focuses on that area. We have 3 stands full of passionate well fans, well media team don't seem to realise that2 points

Obviously Robinson taking advantage of being able to say anything at a football game with no consequences by spouting forth shite2 points

"If true" is the classic phrase of the internet troll. "I just heard Keir Starmer is going to ban Scottish football fans from attending live games. Outrageous, if true". Basically just a mechanism for spouting nonsense. Given that Maswanhise played 25 minutes at Dundee and zero minutes at Ibrox, it's a pretty long rest he's getting.2 points

He's the best striker at the club and he's got two more years to prove it.2 points

I’m loving that the club shop are offering some old school shirts. The Amber matchwinner shirt currently on offer brings back happy memories. It was the season that sparked the build of the cup winning side and it was the first Steelmen shirt Davie Cooper, Nick Cusack and George Burley ever wore. The newly added Pony shirts are a refreshing addition to the norm of Macron and unbranded naff. But why have they gone for the Battenberg? I mean for f¥ck sake !!! Its predecessor was an absolute bute, was the first whole hoop in years and hosted one of our most successful seasons in living history. 100% missed opportunity!!!1 point

On a cheerier note it was good to see quite a few German guys over watching us. Couldn't understand why they couldn't take their drinks into their seats and had to finish them there and then😁.1 point

He actually played for Australia against England. Big jumbo was never the best but always gave 100% in every game.1 point

Never! Big Jumbo bravely put his head into the danger zone for the greater glory of The 'Well 🤣. Loved his Jackie McInally robot-style running action: quite a charcter. I think Shoot! once tipped him for a Scotland cap but they were probably being a bit optimistic...1 point

He said twice in his post match interview that Motherwell fans were abusing his injured player - prick!1 point

I don’t post on pie and Bovril but I see that someone else has posted exactly my account above from their perspective. So two independent accounts of Robinson talking nonsense.1 point

Not that they are required based on what we watched from them yesterday but the stats from the SPFL website show St Mirren are top of the crime count league with 396 fouls and 74 yellow cards. Nuff said I think!1 point

The bbc you say . That well known bastion of Scottish football coverage . A shower of Sherman tanks.1 point

Robbo complaining about shouts from the stand. Ring any bells? Sounds like him and Ketts might have had a wee phone call to each other on the Friday night. I love a good conspiracy theory🤔1 point

Physically they bullied us. We tried to play at pace but too many couldn't control the ball played to them with any pace. Because of their physicality they pressed us hard and at times all we could do was the sideways pass or pass it back. I think we probably deserved the draw but nothing more. Olusanya was unlucky to be sent off but how the fuck that dirty wee bastard Declan John (24) stayed on was truly amazing , was at it all game and the ref let him away with it.1 point

Slattery was excellent yesterday and is definitely worthy of a new contract. It’s so pleasing to see him come back from his injuries and perform so well. On the other hand, Plange was totally dominated by Gogic and Lacovitti. He offered nothing, unfortunately, and Watt should’ve been on sooner. Special mention to Balcombe for having utterly honking distribution. I expect to see Ox given a chance back between the sticks soon.1 point

Poor guy looked out of his depth and quite relieved to get taken off whereas Slattery seemed to revel in the physicality of yesterday's game. In the highlights you can see how cleverly he got round Gogic for his first goal and he wasn't intimidated by Iacovitti either. All in all an excellent performance from him.1 point

Unusual seeing one player dominated votes so I will go with plange for the man of " I am s**t scared" award1 point

Robbo isn’t the first (former) Motherwell manager to talk shit about the Motherwell fans.1 point

After their second goal, robinson acted like a prick turning around to goad the well fans in that area. Not surprised he endured some stick after that. Yes this was olusanya, not long before his second yellow. Second yellow seems soft when you see it in isolation but very lucky to get away with that one which was probably fresh in the refs mind.1 point

Physicality is part of the game but Iacovitti was just being a prick today.1 point

There's wrist breaks and wrist breaks. He's probably fallen on it. 8 weeks isn't unreasonable for a bad break. My wife had a very bad break a few years ago. Her wrist had broken into umpteen fragments and she required a metal plate and a bone graft. We won't see him again this season.1 point

I broke my wrist years ago when I fell over in the snow. So little pain involved that I thought I had just sprained it. Turned out the scaphoid bone was fractured and required a bone graft and a titanium screw, because that bone doesn't have much of a blood supply and often won't heal on it own. It was in a cast for 4 or 5 weeks and the surgery damaged all the nerves in my hand - I couldn't even touch the tip of my thumb to the tip of my index finger. I couldn't have played football for about a month after that as any contact to my hand, or worse, falling on it, might have damaged the recovery. And that was a nothing break.1 point
