I know I shouldn't say this as a supporter but I really couldn't give a flying fuck about this game. I'm fed up watching utter pish and the same ineptitude from the same squad of players. Every week's it's pretty much rinse and repeat with the occasional rise above mediocre crap. I just want this season ended.

That's true of our entire defence. Something SK never managed to fix. I said it then, and I'll keep saying it. Regardless of what you think of an individual player, the defensive unit has been broken for a few seasons now and needs a complete rebuild. We needed to clear them all out and rebuild it from scratch. O'Donnell has his faults, but if you play him as a central defender beside a guy who has even less positional sense, you don't need to be Nostradamus to predict the outcome. I know that was pretty much our entire set of fit defenders, but even our first choices aren't exactly inspiring.

Great point and highly doubt it. Captain and a Vice Captain there. We can add Koutroumbis, Wilson, Balmer, Nicholson, Robinson to the back ups. I don't think anyone's "pant wetting" - but points like Melvin's are here to be discussed. That's likely to be a good bit of budget spent on these two as examples and it's clear Wimmer needs to bring in quality - as there isn't enough of it in our massive 34 man squad.

Happy birthday SOD . in fairness his strengths and weaknesses are there for all to see . He’s been asked to play in a position that doesn’t suit him. for a squad of +30 and a youth team it’s not great that an aging wingback is the medium term answer for an an aging right centre half who’s injured .

Do we need two backups the wrong side of thirty? And will their salaries reflect their roles as backup..?

Forgive me but was McGinn's extension not offered under Wimmer's watch? O'Donnell's he could do nothing about as it was automatically triggered. But having one 30 plus right back that's been converted to a centre back, did we really need another with McGhee arriving and Balmer still on the books. Basically, for me the decision to renew McGinn is one of the stupidest we've made in some time...

As much as SODs might be nice guy, and the players might like him as a person, the number of important goals he’s cost us over his time with the club is significant. Can’t believe he got another years contract. Hells bells.

I'd love us to win by a 90 minute Danny Armstrong OG and then for him to get sent off. I'm sure the patrons of the East Stand will give him a warm welcome/hot reception.

A win would be magic and seal 8th place at worse. I would happily take a dull game with danny Armstrong scoring an injury time own goal winner 🤣🤣

As long as he’s fit he’s definitely worth another year. Hopefully we’ll see a number of new faces who wimmer knows from Austria or Germany this summer. on a separate note, I saw a picture of fir park today and the surface looks like it’s the first day of the season. Absolutely incredible job these groundsmen do.
