  1. Yeah he’s just been punted from the ticket office this morning and told to find someone with a smartphone. i will try and get them but i think that’s fkn disgraceful to be honest.

  2. The Club need to let folk know how to deal....officially...with a situation like this? Also the Society should be pushing the Club to provide some clarification. If, as mentioned earlier, folk are being turned away and told to find someone with a smartphone then that is a disgrace and does not reflect well on our ticket office. You would think that every effort would be made to ensure anyone wanting to attend the game can do so. I get this is being driven by the SFA but our Club and our Society should be addressing the issues that are clearly of concern to fans looking to go to the final. The info that was provided in the press release and the off the cuff advice from the ticket staff seem to be at odds. The instructions do confirm tickets can be transferred but only to people who have also downloaded the App. No mention of one phone with multiple tickets being acceptable. No mention of children.... or others...who do not have a smartphone. Lessons to be learned here.

  4. Remember, Neil Doncaster might be even more useless than the SFA.

  5. It shouldn't even be the SFA that's running the show here - for the League Cup it should be the SPFL.

  6. I never let any clubs off with the "it's the SFA" line. The clubs are the SFA and clubs should be piling it into the SFA board if the fans feel aggrevied.

  7. All in the name of progress apparently That's fuckin shambolic by the way...I'm in my 40s and even I'm not particularly comfortable with all this new-fangled shite to the point that I considered not going until someone else purchased a ticket on my behalf. There will be cries of derision about the lack of a crowd in a 50000 seater stadium...the authorities should be making it easier, not harder ffs

  8. Thanks Dennyc out of annoyance I called the sfa ticket line and waited about 20mins to speak to someone. what should happen is Motherwell will notify the sfa the week before the game of who has bought tickets. The sfa then update our downloaded app to show tickets as being bought and on the day of the game QR codes will appear on the app. so as long as Motherwell have sold tickets ie, to me and my 4 other family members under my email. I should get all 5 QR codes through the day of the match and then I can scan each person through the gates. I said to her what if there’s an issue with QR codes on the day and she said to contact Motherwell who will then contact the sfa who will then email out tickets to the individual. what an absolute fkn joke.

  13. I’m the same, I never got an email confirmation from them so I called them and they confirmed everything was ok. I’d still prefer an email right enough. I can’t fault Motherwell with this as this is all SFA related but this is a disgrace and they have shrugged their shoulders at older people who aren’t able to do all the online stuff. We are going to lose so many dedicated fans who end up saying “sod this it’s too much bother to get a ticket” they are an absolutely horrid organisation

  14. Agree 100%. I guess that the SPFL, or whoever is behind this arrangement, simply doesn't care. A symptom of society in general; you only need to look at automated supermarket checkouts which invariably aren't user friendly.

  15. You can buy and store multiple tickets in the same smartphone app and scan each person through the gate one after another.

  16. From. What I've read no you cant its all digital, no physical tickets will be issued. Its a nonsense to be honest, all I can suggest is get a friend or family member to get a ticket for you.

  17. Just purchased my tickets, it was all straightforward and you can pick your own seats if you don't like where the auto selection places you in your chosen section . Still a ridiculous way to attract fans to football.

  18. Celtic only won because a ridiculous mistake gifted them the equaliser and lifted their tails. Our weak bench didn’t help either, but we still should have seen out at least a draw, especially as they were generally poor compared to previous seasons.

  19. Why can't we do the same? There won't be shortage of tickets. An unnecessarily complicated set of instructions. Unlike the St Mirren site, our doesn't seem to mention the location of our allocated sections, unless I've missed this. These sort of instructions put folk off going to football.

  20. It's a pain in the arse and will ensure many who would have gone won't. The process despite being a pain in the arse is quite straightforward. 1. Everyone who wants a ticket downloads the Hampden app. 2. Season ticket holders can get as many tickets as they like. 3. Season ticket holders purchase tickets from Motherwells ticketing platform. 4. Every ticket ordered must have an email address associated with the Hampden app. If you order 5 tickets for family / friends they must all give you the email address that they set up the Hampden app with. 5. When tickets are purchased all tickets will need to be sent from the Hampden app of the purchaser to the email that each person used to set up the Hampden app , the ticket will appear in each individuals Hampden app on the week of the game. 6. Entry to Hampden will only be possible using the Hampden App ticket QR code that will go live on the morning of the game. Disenfranchising our older supporters who are not mobile app savy. Shocking way to treat potential paying customers.

  21. I’m pretty sure JBA will not drop him and that we will see him versus Falkirk.

  22. But surely you would accept that our style of play means any gk who plays for us will potentially make the same error. I accept it’s a bad mistake but I am not sure what is achieved by hounding him out. like I said earlier he on numerous occasions broke their press with his passes to open up the play.

  23. This was never going to be instant success though. The manager keeps going on about the learning process here. Mistakes will be made. We just have to accept this. I feel a lot on here are being way too critical of the team, you need to look at the bigger picture.

  24. Im not sure I agree with that. If you look at the still, there is a clear pass to Watt, that if it comes off allows him to turn taking 5 Celtic players out the game and giving us a great opportunity to attack. Ward makes a rickets of it, and you could argue the pass is too risky. But the manager has stated clearly numerous times that he wants us to take risks and thats what he likes. I was happy to criticise Ward over the handling errors, as these are basic goalkeeping skills, but this isnt the same, and totally ignores the lack of options the manager has to deal with this without ripping up what we do. If fhe thought Ox was the answer he would have been in after the Killie game.

  25. I will need to phone club tomorrow. I have downloaded Hampden app but when I go to buy tickets it only gives me option for singing section. D and F1 are light blue and doesn't give me option to purchase, bloody farcical

  26. They have posted a link to the SFA ticket help page. Unsurprisingly, it is of SFA use.

  27. I have said exact same to mates, same with concerts, no ticket stubs to look back on. Reminiscing 30 years from now thinking what game was this QR code for? 🤣🤣
