  1. I've no doubt both were trying to score, but if you can't see the difference between the two sets of circumstances...
  2. Same place we were without Faddy, Skippy, Porter, Juke etc. A different team, but not necessarily a worse one.
  3. Apple only at the moment. On their Facebook page they said they're hoping to launch an Android version "next year".
  4. I've only seen the MFC TV highlights and it did look like he was being held back a wee bit, but since it turned out alright in the end I'd be more inclined to be charitable and say the defender did his job… EDIT: Dunno if there are any other angles on the fishel SPL highlights, can't watch them here yet: http://www.youtube.com/feed/UCakRszbIjjGYtFrDPeg5Ieg
  5. It flashes up briefly every time you go back to the Library page from reading a programme, too. I was able to tap it once before it disappeared and it said the club didn't have a season pass option yet… might just take them a few days to set it up for a new club, I guess. BTW, for anyone who's swithering, there are currently four programmes available and one of them's free (the Dundee Utd game in November), so you can download that and see how you like it.
  6. Good stuff, will certainly be checking that out.
  7. Much the same, probably. Our crowds have never gone up or down all that much however well or badly we're doing.
  8. Mind you, anyone who parks the bus against us, especially at Fir Park, rather than just having a good go at our iffy defence really hasn't done their homework.
  9. No, but that doesn't mean they're not having to make cutbacks. They'd have to make even more if they cut the licence fee as well.
  10. He had every right to go for it, and any half decent striker would have done, at least to try and put the keeper off. If he makes any kind of mistake and drops the ball, it's a tap in.

    V Dundee United

And another one to add to his left-peg tally. For all his critics, being able to score with both feet is a heck of an asset for a striker to have.
  12. Personally I have no problem with trial by TV, and I'm even fairly ambivalent as to whether Randolph is sanctioned or not on this occasion, just because it looked kinda deliberate to me. The only thing I have an issue with is how the incidents to be reviewed are being chosen.
  13. If he's a member of a golf club*, the Record probably isn't exactly his daily of choice * Or has any critical faculties whatsoever.
  14. Looks like they sent the Record photographer who makes new Spanish signings wear a sombrero, etc. If he really *does* drive around in that get-up, expect to see him appearing on the FKW page sometime soon (slightly NSFW!)
  15. Yeah, that was second half… was only talking about the first half at that point
  16. Higgy had one decent header on target that the goalie tipped round, and one tame one that floated past, both from decent Humphrey crosses. Henrik also trundled one past from distance, think that was about it though.
  17. Humph has at least whipped in two great crosses in the first half, which is more than Murphy's created from the other side so far.

  19. Sadly, as long as he's on loan at Thistle, his wish might have come true… Partick Thistle are one of those teams that just about everyone seems to have heard of!
  20. MFC TV your only audio option tonight I suspect, or regular updates from the official Twitter feed: http://twitter.com/motherwellfc
  21. Yet funnily enough, the MFC TV commentators pointed out several times (in the first half, at least) how, for a change, the ref was letting Higdon away with challenges that he's penalised for most other weeks.
  22. I'd have taken a scudding off Dundee United if it meant we could have kept Uncle Phil a bit longer.
  23. I got an email from Alison to say it will be, at least for those of us who live overseas. Don't know if those who just can't make it will be similarly accommodated, though.
  24. And it sounds like you'll only be able to vote if you're there on the night, which kind of permanently denies me and several others a vote...
  25. Ah, post on a Saturday. Not a luxury we're afforded in Ireland...
