  1. Yep, looks like him. We quite often used to get his comps because my dad worked with his dad
  2. I expect they are, but you'd never know it from the way we usually play against Rangers.
  3. Partly, I'm sure, because they always thought we were h**s without the bus fare as well, so can't understand why we voted to boot them out (especially while we had one of their own as a manager). Bless.
  4. It was, but it didn't help that he fell Tom Daley style, intentionally or otherwise. If you're going to fall, fall ugly -- far more likely to get the decision!
  5. I have no doubt we've been looking. But unbelievable as it may seem to us, not everybody wants to play for Motherwell, on Motherwell's terms.
  6. Missed tonight's action due to getting slightly pickled in Dublin, but have to agree the biggest disappointment is failing to score in four games. Never expected to progress in either tournament, but that's a bit depressing.
  7. I wouldn't bet on it, they haven't been able to get a working network connection to upload the interviews etc. they've done already.
  8. You should have your feckin phone switched aff then
  9. Here's a direct link to that bit.
  10. Hope so mate… I suspect your success rate will depend on whether you have to recover from your credit card company or from PayPal. If you have to go through the latter's dispute resolution process, it could get messy.
  11. If he turns out half as well as the last young midfielder I remember having a torrid first start against St Mirren, he'll do fine.
  12. Hopefully he'll be too busy trying to do a bit of business on the transfer market for the next week or so.

    New Dugout

To be honest, I always think Recaro seats look a bit daft in any dugout, let alone ours. But I suppose anything that tarts up the old place a bit for free ain't to be sniffed at.
  14. If you could be arsed, I suppose you could ask them which bank that was, and then check with that bank yourself if they do have that policy. (But if they're really good scam artists, they'll have checked that such a policy does exist anyway.) Have to say, though, if I was as suspicious as you seem to be, I'd just not be handing over any money at all.
  15. Vaguely remember hearing we'd be allowed to bring in one player up to the Wednesday night, dunno if that's actually true though.
  16. Hamstring strain, unlikely to play on Thursday I'd guess.
  17. Been all Motherwell for the last 10 mins or so, two or three good chances to double our lead.
  18. I'm not a military man, but IIRC they still use it too -- 2400 when used to indicate the end of a day, and 0000 when used to indicate the start of a day.
  19. IIRC in French, it's still more common to say 2400 rather than 0000, which would explain UEFA's preference. Used to be common enough in English too, until digital clocks came along.

  21. Home kit with Euro lettering, same as last week.
  22. But with a strike rate like that, wouldn't be playing for Motherwell, or anyone else in the SPL.
