    New Away Kit

Not a massive fan of black kits (including the Skippy Sunday one), but this one seems fairly inoffensive.
  2. Ojamaa's probably been more consistent so far (though still not without his dips in form), so he'd get my vote even though his proclivity to falling over is a bit annoying -- then again, so was Dougie Arnott's when he first arrived, and he turned out not so bad.
  3. I couldn't care less whether he's an ex-Jambo, and he is (was?) a fine keeper, but AFAIK it's not even clear at the moment whether he'll be able to play competitive football again. Unless we're in the market for a goalkeeping coach as well and could offer him that role if it didn't work out, I'd say it's too big a punt for a club of our meagre resources.
  4. True, although I do always find the "I dont like it, it looks like a training kit" chat a bit odd. A decent design is still decent (and a crappy one is still crappy) whether it's on a training kit or a playing kit.
  5. You can get it on Sky throughout UK and Ireland, at least. (Doesn't help in this case, of course.) Other than dubious internet streams, the BBC website does stream Alba live here if you have access to a UK proxy. I've never quite figured out their streaming rights for fitba' though… some games it tells me they're not allowed to stream, other games it works fine.
  6. Can't entirely blame Puma, I'm sure the club have a big hand in choosing what colours to go with, if not which template as well.
  7. Call me a bit OCD, but I do like it when an away kit is the perfect inverse of the home kit
  8. Dunno, can't even remember where I heard that.. thought it was on here, but a search isn't immediately digging it up. EDIT: Oh, here you go -- was remembering it arse backwards, sorry Will be registered but not used, apparently.
  9. Yeah, I didn't really understand the thinking behind it, if it's true. I suppose we'd be "keeping" it in the sense you can still buy it from the shop!
  10. Yes, but it won't be registered with SFA (if I remember an earlier post right). So I guess it'll be for training and friendlies only next year.
  11. We did almost the same thing the following season (2nd top to 3rd bottom), so it's easy enough given the right managerial talent
  12. Quite agree, although to be fair, I presume we don't really know what we're paying him now. For all I know, maybe we could actually afford to pay him top-end of our pay scale, but only if we were we to lose another couple of players without replacement (which could happen, though I'd rather it didn't). That would still be a massive pay cut compared to his EPL days, but sometimes enjoying yourself is more important than the money.
  13. Have to go for Faddy as well… he's the only one who's likely to produce something out of nothing once or twice a game. If Higdon does stay, and I hope he does, it has the potential to be a tricky season for him. Realistically he's unlikely to match this season's goalscoring tally even if he does maintain good form, and if he doesn't start banging them in again straight away the usual suspects will likely start getting on his back.
  14. Something like that To be honest, all this chat about how much we'd "lose" for finishing second this year is a bit daft. We'd lose nothing because we never had it in the bank to start with, and we'll still be a lot better off than if we finish any lower.
  15. I'd genuinely forgotten he was even there!
  16. Nah. You can sit and play "what if" all day, but for every time we've been unlucky, I dare say something has gone our way as well. And you'd be hard pushed to find another 13 points we "should" have won to put us above Celtic. This season has brought us Champions League football, a record goalscorer, (probably) our highest league finish in a generation, and the return of Faddy. Just enjoy it!
  17. Doubt anyone will even notice it down there, unless he somehow ends up at one of the big EPL clubs he'll be a very wee fish in a very big pond of shite-spouting.
  18. 1999, according to the telly commentary. (Haven't checked though.)

    Celtic

Hard to choose between Las and Henrik. Las covered every blade of glass and even did a bit of a Davie Cooper near the end, Henrik ran them absolutely ragged and scored a peach.
  20. Ah, but now he's resting some of his players for the Cup Final, y'see. So we didn't really beat the real Celtic, obviously.
  21. Now you're making me pine for the days when you had to work out what it was going to look like from some two-inch square teaser photos. Have to say I actually don't mind the collar at all. It's different, but inoffensive. (Not that I'll be buying one anyway -- always said I'd stop wearing football tops when I hit 40, and that was a while ago now!)
  22. Hmm. Sounds like I ought to get onto them then. Transfer is showing as completed at my end, but who knows where it might have ended up
  23. Did anyone ever get any confirmation that their renewal fee had been received? (Mine was due end of March, I sent a bank transfer, have heard nothing since.)
  24. But the guard of honour would be for the players, not Neil Lennon.
