  1. MFC TV your only audio option tonight I suspect, or regular updates from the official Twitter feed: http://twitter.com/motherwellfc
  2. Yet funnily enough, the MFC TV commentators pointed out several times (in the first half, at least) how, for a change, the ref was letting Higdon away with challenges that he's penalised for most other weeks.
  3. I'd have taken a scudding off Dundee United if it meant we could have kept Uncle Phil a bit longer.
  4. I got an email from Alison to say it will be, at least for those of us who live overseas. Don't know if those who just can't make it will be similarly accommodated, though.
  5. And it sounds like you'll only be able to vote if you're there on the night, which kind of permanently denies me and several others a vote...
  6. Ah, post on a Saturday. Not a luxury we're afforded in Ireland...

    Celtic

You're not. He has indeed saved 3/3 this season. There's always a bit of luck involved in saving (or scoring) penalties of course, but a streak like that does suggest he's probably been doing his homework too.
  8. I'd agree with that, unfortunately. It was always going to be between him and Hammell I suppose, but so far Keith doesn't really seem to fire up and rally the players on the pitch when required. I hope that comes over time, but in the meantime I wonder if one of our younger, mouthier regulars (Hateley? Hutch? I dunno) might have thrived on the extra responsibility and turned out to be a better choice -- never did Tom Boyd any harm (not that he was exactly mouthy, mind you!) That said, as others have pointed out: with the resources they have, if Celtic aren't able to brush aside most teams in the SPL like that most weeks, they're doing something seriously wrong.
  9. Have thought that for a while, and not just because of our displays against the Old Firm. Kinda hard to justify the expense in our situation when there's no guarantee of results, though.
  10. Aye, bring back Malpas!
  11. And you seriously think the Daily Old Firm published everything he said, in full? Pretty much the only place to hear Stuart McCall's unedited reaction to anything these days is MFCTV… anything else is whatever that paper's editor wants you to read.
  12. While there are plenty of things pissing me off about last night's debacle, have to say that's not one of them. Lasley and McCulloch (and Hammell, for that matter) were team-mates at Motherwell and more than likely good mates off the park, so I don't really care what they do after the game as long as they get stuck right into each other during it.
  13. I'm not even sure how I'll feel when we finally do, at this point. Probably a bit like getting an 89th minute consolation goal in a 6-1 scudding.
  14. Hopefully the whole team will be made to do the same thing many times this week.
  15. On BBC or MFCTV? Just watching his MFCTV interview now, and he does sound fairly pissed off, bemoaning our "faffing around in good positions" etc. Although he also says if the players don't perform on Saturday he's going to have make changes, suggesting he's not planning to make many beforehand, and also that "doesn't know what the answer is" to our performances at Ibrox, which isn't terribly encouraging either...
  16. At roughly this stage in Tommy McLean's Motherwell managerial career, crowds were gathering outside Fir Park shouting for his resignation.
  17. I don't doubt our ability to nick a goal or even two, but they've been scoring for fun at Ibrox all season, and that's a good habit to be in regardless of the level of opposition. I don't think it'll finish 0-0 after 90 mins, that's for sure.
  18. You can't be a great before you've even decided to extend your first contract, IMHO.
  19. Express claims we're on the case re extending McCall's contract… distinct lack of direct quotes, mind you. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/347092
  20. They're certainly struggling away from home, and I'd rate our chances against them at Fir Park. Unfortunately, despite a couple of brief embarrassments, they've gubbed everyone at Ibrox, scoring 17 goals in 4 games. Their squad might be low-to-middling SPL quality at best at the moment, but Motherwell are hardly bankers against any low-to-middling SPL team, home or away.
  21. Realistic? Aye. Likely? Naw.

    Dundee

Not going to vote as I only watched on a stuttery stream, but if I was I'd give it to Ojamaa for giving us the spark we needed for the comeback.
  23. Yup. If he changes his mind, then I'd probably still take him, on our terms. But we're far from being in a desperate enough position to go chasing folk who've already said 'no'.
  24. That reminds me, the FIFA 13 demo is released today… must download it to see how it compares to the PES demo
