  1. Just saw him hanging onto Burrows leg and shouting geeza joab while being dragged through the foyer
  2. Wonder if the 3 supposed signings were coming to the club because of Robbo in which case will we still pursue them or whether they would even still want to come considering the circumstances.
  3. She’s too busy sticking up for him on Facebook
  4. I’ve just fallen right off the fence now.
  5. I’m ever so slightly moving off the fence and into the out camp. Hopefully the 2nd half will make me change my mind.
  6. LOL What can I say I’m just a sad bored old git. Done it again in the 2nd half as well
  7. Watching the Rangers game just now with a stop watch to try and prove a point to myself. Twice in the first half McGregor has held on to the ball longer than 6 seconds. Once for 10 and another for 14. Interesting!!
  8. Tony Watt by the proverbial country mile.
  9. I think if he came out after a game and explained his rationale behind the subs we might be a bit forgiving but unfortunately there’s little chance of that happening
  10. Joe Wark was pretty handy as well
  11. What I’ve noticed about him is he always seems to take up position at the far post so is a bit predictable for opposition defenders. Would like to see us mixing it up a bit more
  12. Another point further away from the Midden County and Accies plus not conceding a stupid goal. Considering the past few weeks I’ll take that all day long.
  13. Worse news if you’re a fan of Lang. According to the daily rag,Wigan apparently recalling him in January as they have that option although I thought it was a season long loan
  14. Sometimes a player is like a Manager ie he has a shelf life at one club and you go stale and lose a bit of enthusiasm. I think that was maybe the case with Tait as he has looked more like his old self with the midden this year. Hartley was definitely struggling towards the end of his time with us.
  15. You just need to look at Taits performances against us and Rangers. Not bad for someone we were all saying was done.
  16. You could see in the last 20 mins that both Rangers full backs were getting more and more of the ball because we had retreated into our own penalty area and it was only a matter of time before one of their crosses landed lucky. There is such a thing as having too many defenders in your box sometimes. Did Mugabi just miss the flight of the ball at the 1st goal or did he actually duck because he thought the ball was going behind and didn't see the player behind him? Not sure on that but yet another basic error. Who knows what would have happened if they hadn't scored from that.
  17. Alternatively you could say that Rangers have looked jaded in their last 2 games and Tavernier and Goldson have got them out of jail twice.
  18. It would depend on the repayment terms I suppose. If they were at a very low rate of interest over a decent length of time then it would be sensible for the club to take advantage of it if needed. As far as lower league clubs are concerned (at least the better supported ones) then they should be treated the same as the SPL clubs and be offered loans not grants. Why should the likes of ICT Dunfermline etc get a possible financial advantage over clubs they could potentially face in a play off. I would Imagine that there will be some kind of limitations as to what the loans/grants can be used for though.
  19. What worried me was the body language on the touch line. Any time the cameras zoom in on Robbo he is usually bawling at the top of his voice but today he was noticeably quiet as if he couldn’t believe what he was watching. I can’t make my mind up if he has “lost” some of the players or if we just have a majority of a squad who are not willing or able to “kiss the badge” if you want to use that analogy. We were strolling about while the St Mirren guys were throwing themselves into tackles and defending as if their lives depended on it. You can coach formations and tactics but you can’t coach passion so to that extent I do feel a teensy bit sorry for Robbo although granted it is him who signs the players. Or maybe he just doesn’t have a clue or has just run out of ideas.
  20. The only positives I took from the game were we at least created some chances( even although we never looked like converting them) which was better than having the usual 1 shot at goal. And Grimmy looked a better left back than Lamie and McGinley combined (which tbf wouldn’t be hard). He has a lot of things to sort out.
  21. Sent a shiver down my spine just reading that
  22. Stop giving opposition wingers the freedom of Fir Park would be a start. Would playing O Donnell as a right sided wing back with someone behind him( Grimmy?) shore up one side at least plus he can put in a good cross from a forward position as we saw with Scotland. Feel free to shoot me down
