Unfortunately for us, the fan ownership (which I am part of) has slowly dragged us down. Why? Our fan ownership would work if we could at least double the amount of members. The number we have at present makes it very difficult to make progress, because over the years costs go up, but our membership doesn't go up to compensate , so you eventually reach a point where what we put into the club isn't enough. I sincerely hope I'm wrong. That's why if we could put some kind of package together for interested people to invest in conjunction with the Well Society, this would put us a more stable footing.

I wonder if I'm the only one who thought the second penalty was wrong. If you pull someones jersey, it's very easy to see it, especially when slowed down. Looking at the replay you can't see the jersey being pulled away from the body of the Ceptic player, so I really don't think Butcher did pull it. The Celtic player was never getting the ball so he just made it look worse than it was, and VAR bought it. AS everyone else agrees, up the other end that decision would not have been given against Ceptic.

As far as Van Veen is concerned, surely we have some successful business sponsor who could bankroll at least a loan agreement to the end of the year for him. We've done that kind of thing before, Van Veen could promote the sponsors business in return. Everybody benefits.
