  1. No it was'nt, if he had went down easily or for you " dived" won us a penalty that won the cup etc, would we all be complaining, i think not, so lighten up on Slattery. The real embarrassment is the standard of refereeing in Scotland which is 100% responsible for this whole shit show.

    Slattery

A very naieve viewpoint but you are entitled to it, each to our own views.

    Slattery

There is not a footballer on the planet current or historic that has not exaggerated a tackle, feigned injury, took a tumble to win a foul, penalty etc, its always been part of football and always will be. So lets not get all " holier than thou and sanctimonious" about Slattery. The questions that should be asked is when are the incompetent faceless clowns at the SFA etc going to be held accountable for the current shit show that is ruining Scottish football.

They wont though, its the SFA we are talking about here.

    Slattery

If var had done its job properly, the St mirren player would never been sent off, Slattery would have had a yellow card and that would have been the end of it. But they made a James Hunt of it and Slattery gets a 2 game ban instead of a yellow card, it really is a feckin shambles of an organisation, can you imagine the shit storm if it had been one of ghe ugly sisters players getting banned. The clubs really need to grow a set and start challenging the whole set up, as its not fit for purpose.
  6. I see the BBC gossip page is reporting that the ugly sisters are both going to make a move for Eli Just in the summer, must be a slow day rumour wise. Nawrocki permanent exit mooted as Just & Ashia linked with Glasgow moves - gossip - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cm2rm71xkgro
  7. Im going for a strong finish to the season 7 games left, so why not 7 wins and a 75 point total, and see what that gets us. No Alcohol was consumed before posting, coyw.
  8. JBA sums up the current state of Scottish VAR perfectly in this article from the Sun https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/16067918/askou-fumes-var-lines-drawn-by-five-year-old/
  9. Hibs were well organised yesterday, they stopped us playing through midfield, two lines in front of us all the time. It forced us to try to go round them down the sides to get in behind and thats not our game. And i though VAR had done away with the big toe or half a boot being offside, that decision was a joke.
  10. Spot on, Gollum actually says on the video re the Just tackle, "if the referee had shown a straight red card to the Celtic player Var would not have overturned it" ffs the whole set up is a corrupt, incompetent shambles.
  11. My mistake, but a win would see us at least 14 goals better off so thats as good as an extra point, but as you say 4 wins to overtake us, its not happening.
  12. If we win on saturday we are 10 clear and at least 14 goals ahead of Hibs, thats a lot to overhaul in the last 7 games, it would need a collapse of epic proportions from us, and i cant see that happening.
  13. Alan Campbell coming on as a sub for St Mirren v Rangers.
  14. Ive just watched the highlights and that was never a penalty, never mind a red card a feckin disgraceful decision, i cant believe useless cnuts like beaton and clancy get away with shit like that week after week with no accountsbility.
  15. Is it not the case that any incident like that inside the 18 yd box would be a penalty and a yellow card only, if it was not violent conduct
  16. You need to have arrived in the UK on an inflatable boat under cover of darkness to stay there these days, its free though.
  17. My very 1st game at Fir park that night, took me 20 mins to work my way to the front of the old terracing where the cooper stand is now, before i could see anything.
  18. Personally just for the good laugh, i'd rather Robinson got Aberdeen relegated.
  19. If the club get things right on and off the pitch and generate enough income to be able to back the manager financially then why not, anything is possible. But there is a lot to sort out outwith improving the team, do we move or improve, new training facilities, etc etc. Standing still and showing no ambition other than avoiding relegation each season is no way to develop the club and get more fans back to Fir park, so the board have a job on their hands, but so far we seem to be moving in ghe right direction.
  20. I bet the damages bill is only a fraction of what the Rangers fans inflicted on Manchester a few years ago, both of them two cheecks of the same Arse, Scotlands ongoing shame.
  21. Some of the comments on the Aberdeen socials are wild and quite a few directed at Burrows and Pfannenstiel. The whole thing smacks of desperation is reality finally dawning on them that its not the mid 80's anymore, comdey gold 😂
  22. Tommy Mclean done it, built a team that won us the cup in 91 then continued to develop it and came very close to winning the league a few years later. So why cant JBA fo the same the new board seem to have bought in to his philosophy and i have no doubt they will back him financially. The club is heading in a new direction both on and off the field, so anything is possible.
  23. The Sun reporting that JBA has no plans to leave Fir park over the summer, time will tell🤔 https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/16018352/jens-berthel-askou-motherwell-future-celtic-links/
  24. There is absolutely zero chance of strict liability being enforced Dave, whatever the outcome the ugly sisters dont want it so the SFA / SPFL will just go ok then and quietly drop it.
  25. He is a decent enough player, but well past his sell by date at premiership level and will be away come the summer. If he still wants to play i reckon it will championship or league 1, but why not pursue a media career, hell probably earm more cash with less stress.
