You think then that Falkirk have the players and resources to stay in the premiership? For me if they get promoted they will be big favourites to go straight back down it's a big step up in quality from the championship.
-
Nothing more than ever since his new baby arrived he's been permanently injured and unavailable, very little mention of him from Fir Park, so just an opinion.
-
100% this, he gives me the fear big time, how he is still getting picked ahead of Oxborough is crazy.
-
Me too, I think he does not want to be here
-
I know his best days are behind him and his injury record is not the best but he'd still be a big upgrade on the alleged strikers we have now. That said I don't think we should be signing him again.
-
Correct but younger, with ability and a sell on value would be better, quality over quantity.
-
Time for some positive thinking pure happy clapping, based on nothing but pure optimism, we are going to pump them on Saturday to secure another season in the premiership.
-
That is the root of the problem right there, everything the SFA / SPFL ever do is to pander to the ugly sisters to make sure they get what they want ie a 19/19 split every season, the most TV cash etc etc. As a result every other club has to take what's left, and nothing will ever change unless the 11/1 voting rules in the Premiership are altered.

All that's needed with the playoffs is to copy the English set up, so a simple 2 relegated from the premiership, Championship, L1 and L2. The Championship, L1 and L2 winners promoted with the next 4 in each of those 3 leagues playing for the other promotion place. The 2 down from league 2 would be replaced by the Lowland and Highland league winners

I agree, the chances of us finishing lower than 10th are very slim, but you do realise your positivity will never catch on dont you.

Do you like chasni pies though 🤔

There are a lot more than Thompson that should be shown the door, Tavares, Andrews, Robinson, Balcome, Dickson, zdravkovski, Ebiye to name a few. This summer is going to be one of the biggest rebuilds in recent seasons.
-
Fair enough, it's all about opinions but for me Miller has been poor for a few games now, most of the play seems to pass him by.
-
Miller, really, he only played one decent pass the whole game, when he set up Armstrong the rest of the game he was poor, constantly playing the ball and finding nobody.
-
Me ,I'll be renewing

I'm sure MW never told the players to go out and play like they did in the last two games, so its down to them to respond and actually look as though they are trying today. As I suspect that if the results go in our favour today and we make the top 6 and are safe from relegation, the last 5 games will be shit shows as the majority of the squad will be in holiday mode.

This " he doesn't know the Scottish game " pish annoys me, football is basically the same the world over, a 4-4-2, or 3-5-2 etc is the same in Lanarkshire as it is in Germany. Honestly we could appoint Ancellotti , Klopp, Mourhino, etc and we'd get the same moans about not knowing the Scottish game, if that's actually a thing, it's Wimmers coaching, tactical, man management and football skills and abilities that matter, not whether he knows St Mirren are a bunch of thugs or Armstrong at Killie is a cheating wee fud.

Is the hall of the dammed still active as this thread needs condemned to it ASAP.
-
Maybe not, it seems Alan muir has been punted but that was for alleged errors involving the ugly sisters https://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/25074880.var-official-alan-muir-sacked-celtic-rangers-errors/ But as there are Different rules for the other 10 teams, you are correct nothing will change.
-
The appeal process is a joke as well, we win the appeal, Balmer is clear to play, but we still lost the game. There are never any sanctions on the match referees, VAR, or the cheating opposition players who conned the ref in the 1st place. These are not one off incidents but the comfy wee clique that is the SFA do feck all to address the issue.

The only clubs attractive to investors from anywhere are the bigger, better supported clubs that can actually generate an income, from merchandise sales, advertising, commercial partnerships etc, as well as having governance that can be bought out and replaced, ie non fan owned. In all honesty can anyone really see an investor getting a return on their cash at Motherwell, ownership of the Stadium and/or any adjacent land is the only way I can see to achieve a profit.

With all due respect that's pish, SK had KVV and Spittal contributing 30 goals between them, MW has Armstrong, Watt or Ebiye so hardly surprising we struggle to score goals and therefore win games As for MW having Multiple chances to secure top 6, that would be 2 maybe 3 games out of the 6 or 7 he's been in charge, aye OK then. Some of the posters on here need a reality check at times, does anyone really think we would be any better off after 32 games if SK had stayed, not a chance we would be at least 6 points worse off.

The best way to keep us away from the playoffs is to fulfill the silly wee dream and secure a top 6 finish.
