I don't want accies ending up in the playoff spot as they would probably beat the championship team, Dundee. Raith or Dunfermline, so here's hoping they finish in 12th .
-
I've thought that for years , don't know how long cash converters paid for the advert, but it needs to go, along with the other adverts along the front, not a good look at all.
-
At the moment it is, if we beat Dundee untd and Killie beat StM, then we are guaranteed 7th place.
-
Sam Foley for me thought he had a superb game, special mention for Cole as well.
-
After the injuries we've had this season a settled team with no long term issues will be a big bonus, here's hoping.

If GA and the coaching team don't think cornelius and Devine are ready for the 1st team for the last 35 games, why should they be played for the last 3 just because we are safe. The harsh fact that people seem to forget is that these players might just not be good enough for the 1st team. We should be playing our strongest available team in every game, 7th is the highest we can finish so that's what the target should be. Motherwell have a good record of giving young players who are ready to step up their chance, but for every Turnbull, Pearson, Faddy etc there are lots more who won't be good enough at this level.

Not been impressed with Gallacher this season on or off the field, but if he is getting a decent move at this time in his career then fair play to him and hope he does OK. I hope the Aberdeen contract is a longish one as I can't see Glass being in that job for long, he's my bet for first managerial casualty of next season.

Aberdeen are in signing talks with Gallacher according to the BBC gossip page and the Sun https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56912244

Out of line.. that's the unique charm of Fir Park we have 4 stands and everyone of them is different,so debating the colour arrangements of the seats in each one seems a bit pointless ,
-
I think 4 finals since 91 shows we have the character to go all the way, but coming up against the best two teams in the country in every one shows we don't always have the luck.

If it's long covid that grimshaw has It's not good my wife had covid the same time, just before Christmas and she is still off work same symptoms main one being extreme tiredness, nobody really knows how to treat it.
-
Aye if the goals were on top of the stand, if it was rugby or Aussie rules it would have been perfect
-
3 of the 4 QF's going all the way to pens, as has been mentioned before very little between the premiership sides.
-
Spot on but you forgot qualifying for the Champions league, for a club our size our record since 91 has been pretty decent , compared with St Johnstone, St Mirren, Killie etc who my have 1 or 2 decent seasons and 25 seasons of achieving nothing mediocrity.
-
Rather than a quality issue, I think it highlights the inconsistency of the other chasing teams that Aberdeen have been able to hold on to 4th. Only Livingston put together a decent run to get them up to 5th. We have thrown away lots of points pre split, 2 at StM, and Dundee untd, 9 to the worst team in the league ffs, so 13 points at least, even taking 10 of those would have seen us challenging for 4th and a European place. Regarding the quality of the Scottish Premiership it may not be the best but it is what it is, comparisons with other leagues are difficult as we only tend to see games involving the top sides which does not give a true picture.
-
Given that the ugly sisters are the only 2 teams ever going to win the premiership, so even if either of them win the cup and the league the Europa league playoff spot and conference league group stage, will be available to the team finishing 3rd, with 4th and 5th getting the CL places. So for the 10 other teams a top 5 finish will almost certainly secure a European place, and as we have seen there is very little between the teams from 3rd to 9th this season maybe 2 or 3 wins less for Hibs and more for us etc. So we are more than capable of finishing in the top 5. We need to ensure a good rebuild in the summer and hit the ground running come August.
-
Sorry to sound pedantic but, we are a lot better than you think its 2 cups in 69 years, but I take your point.
-
Said it before lucky teams win cups, which in Scotland means the uglies have lost out in earlier rounds, we have never had that fortune in our last 4 finals, Hibs must be the favourites now., although given their performance tonight would not rule out a St J double.
-
Feckin typical the omens were good , beating morton on pens, semi finalists Dundee untd and StJ all the same as 91, and we blew the big chance yesterday even more gutted now.
-
That's the way it should be, never had time for all this give the youngsters a chance chat, if they are good enough they will get their chance. We have an opportunity to finish the season in 7th, more prize money etc, so it should be strongest available team at all times. What people don't realise is that the majority of the reserve team / colts won't be good enough to make the step up we will be doing well to get 1 or 2 players stepping up to the 1st team. We have had more than a decent return over recent years with Turnbull, Hastie, Campbell, Erwin, Cadden etc but that us not guaranteed. GA sees these players daily so I assume he knows who might be ready to step up and who is not, so a chance in the 1st team should be on merit not because we are safe in the league.
-
Given our recent penalty shootout form I honestly thought we would go through, Kelly Is always good for at least one save, as he proved today, but O'Hara and Lawless's efforts were shocking, so after doing all the hard work to equalise and take it to pens we blew it, a big chance missed.
-
99% of Well fans would not give a toss if we were dross for 89 mins and go on to win it in the last minute, it's a cup game all that counts is getting through, but you knock yourself out blaming GA, every forum needs a troll or two.
-
Never heard such pish in all my life, we were 2 down with 11 mins left, he changed our line up and we got back to 2-2, we then went on to boss the game, had a great chance in extra time to win it. Was it GA's fault O'Hara and Lawless made a mess of both their pens, I think not, if you need to blame anybody blame Magloire for giving Doidge a free header, or the linesman for not spotting an obvious offside, but blaming GA is feckin nonsense.
-
Against my better judgement went for Gallacher thought he was solid all game, between him and O'Donnell.
-
It's not over we have 7th place to play for, extra prize money, gutted we lost today as we have been rock solid in penalty shootouts recently, so a big chance missed, as has been said before apart from the uglies there is very little between the other teams.
