  1. He also said it was done for European football so that was 2 or 3 years ago killie were last in Europe was it not
  2. Get rid of the plastic from the premiership so Accies 12th and Killie 11th and getting pumped in the playoff would do for me, Ross county is a good away day
  3. Nah, just forgot all about him, but he is a good example of all that's wrong with the selection policy. He's Australian and most of if not all of his football career / development has been outside Scotland, yes he played well in the caps he's had but is that at the expense of purely homegrown talent? Scotland has lost far too many good players over the years, by failing to select good homegrown talent at the expense of fake Scots like McBurney, McTomminay, Che Adams etc. The talents of McGeady, Mccarthy, Ray Houghton, Tommy Coyne were missed due to this approach.
  4. Spot on, Adams harks back to the bertie voghts days, if you had ever eaten shortbread or Haggis you were in the squad, guys like Adams, and Mc Burnie should never be near the squad, never have been and never will be interested in Scotland. Meanwhile we have the likes of Gilmour, Turnbull and a few others playing regularly for top clubs and not getting near the squad.
  5. That strip is truly honking, I know UBH is proud of the mfc script and the work put into it rightly so, but in my untrained opinion it looks naff, the club crest/badge looks a lot better. Replace the black with claret and the blue with Amber, and a club badge and that would be a tidy strip.
  6. Noticed that Turnbull never made the Scotland squad, thought he would be a definite given his recent form.
  7. If that's the case then we would be on 38 pts so killie, accies and Rc could only get 40, 41 and 44 pts respectively if they win their last 5 games, but only 1 of them can do that so the max totals for the other 2 would drop by 3 pts. Don't think it will be settled this game, but a win on Saturday and another 1st game after the split will see us safe.
  8. There is still work to do, a couple of wins from the last 6 games and we will be safe, so we need to be focused. A win on Saturday would see us 13 clear of Killie, and possibly 12 in front of Accies if results go our way, so a great place to be going into the last 5 games.
  9. Good results for us today Accies and Ross county both losing, happy days
  10. Player is brilliant saw him play many times , however the sash along with the hairstyle is dodgy
  11. Glad I am not the only one that does not like them, and not wanting to sound controversial I'm not overly keen on hoops either
  12. Even grizzlyg would draw the line at that attempt at humour
  13. The current pandemic will be ancient history before we win a cup, so it probably won't be an issue by then. But if you think breaking lockdown rules, potentially spreading a deadly virus, trashing public property, and showing no respect for people's health is OK then add your own name to the list of Fannies
  14. have a look at yourself FFS, thats an outrageous comment, people are dying every day and you are spouting pish like this.
  15. They still think its the mid 80's up there and they are a big club, instead of the bang average provincial club they are, agreed re McInnes though think he has done well up there.
  16. From the shortlist of potential managers we had GA was my preference as well, and so far he is doing what he was brought in for, to steady the ship and keep us in the premiership. He had to to work with the players he inherited so we won't really get to see his full impact until he can clear out the deadwood, dross and loan players and rebuild the team in the summer to his own ideas. A good few players will stay but we need to see who he brings in so the summer rebuild and the first few games of next season will give us a better idea of how he works and if his appointment was good or not, so far the evidence is positive and another win or two, will see his 1st objective fulfilled.
  17. Doing the job they are paid for ie upholding the current law would be a start, they are shitebags, if it was 3 drunk fans singing at closing time there would be vans all over the street and 4 polis for each of them
  18. Looks like the marching season has started early, it's a feckin national disgrace that the police are not only allowing that but assisting blatant law breakers with an illegal unsanctioned parade. Others will look at that and say why should I bother with the lockdown rules when that mob don't, lives may be lost due to that shite we have seen today.
  19. The police are standing watching them blatantly breaking current legislation and doing feck all, so no change there its a disgrace. I don't think it will affect the rest of the season, but I am sure UEFA are watching and Scotlands chances of playing in the Euros at home in front of the Tartan army are probably fading fast.
  20. I think killie would suffer more if it happens, Accies are a premiership club in name only, shit stadium, shit pitch, hardly any fans, perennial strugglers, they bring nothing to the top league, so dropping down to the championship would really not bother them.
  21. Kind of thought that as well, probably a lot of Rangers fans made a few quid on the draw or home win.
  22. So much for 8th place, you can rely on Celtic for feck all these days.
  23. 1-0 would leave them on the same GD as us-16 Don't know if they go to goals scored etc, but 2-0 puts us above them.
  24. If Celtic win by 2 or more goals tomorrow we go 8th, so your charity might be on a winner
  25. Campbell for me he was brilliant today, never stopped, special mention for Magloire he was solid all game.
