  1. Was in it on Sunday and yeah it was good, suspect with our climate opportunities to use it will be limited.
  2. If anyone thinks the Rangers fans do as much damage to Fir Park they are utterly delusion if not blind. I'm no lover of Rangers I despise them but Celtic are without doubt the most destructive fans we ever host.
  3. At least they look like they can defend , thats an improvement on last year.
  4. Many of the seats in the lower tier still looked damaged following the Celtic Scum visit. Anyone know if thats the case.
  5. yeah they didn't start but came on and still did fuck all, Hearts got worse when they brought their "top men" on
  6. Not if they play like they played against Falkirk , they were shite.
  7. I tend to be a bit like that , there are positives. Even at 11v11 the 4th best team in the league last season created fuck all against us. Last season wed have chucked a couple in for them.
  8. My Tuppence worth: We are through against a Premier league team at home for the first time in a long time, Happy Days. Thought the defence were pretty decent throughout even when Killie had 11 on the park. Maswanhise looks like he could be a real asset to us. McGinn was outstanding despite a couple of rash ones late on. SOD did well forus as did Lennon Miller. Watt did a turn for us. Midfield still not strong enough. Didn't create anything when it was 11 v 11 , that said neither did Kilmarnock. Halliday just doesn't do it for me, nor Robinson. Our set pieces are woeful. Attendance from the home support was utterly pitiful. Those who booed Tony Watt please tell me what good you think that does? thankfully in the minority and were drowned out by the majority still but still pathetic. All in All in the Cup all you ask is to get through, we did it, and got another home tie avoiding the OF so all in all a few positives but still plenty room for improvement.
  9. I'd like to think most Motherwell fans will give him the chance he seeks. I have my views on him but hes a Motherwell player now and for that alone I'll support him , albeit I wont be taken in by any badge kissing LOL.
  10. This game will give us an idea if we are as poor as some think or maybe better than some think. Kilmarnock have been utter pish in all their games this season. Be interesting to see if for once , in what seems like an eternity, we can turn up in a Cup game at FP against Premier league opposition.
  11. Correct the idea that we didn't put him through the necessary fitness tests before he was selected is frankly ridiculous. All players have to prove their fitness before selection.
  12. I admire his bottle , I'm just not sure he is up to it. That said if he dumps Kilmarnock out the Cup on Sunday all negativity will evaporate but he has a hard task to manage it.
  13. He's here now the only thing now to judge him on is what he does on the park, we've all had our say about his history and our views on him personally and all of use will never agree, its all about on the park now.
  14. I've heard a number of stories about him being disruptive, however SK will know those stories better than anyone . I 've also said on twitter as much as I wouldn't have signed him, and as it stands I stand by that , he has shown balls to resign and I sincerely hope no Motherwell fan gives him abuse. Lets see what he can do and if he proves me wrong no one will be happier than me.
  15. Not at all , he's here now I will not abuse him or give him a hard time. The discussion is about the type of person he is and the type of player he is and frankly on both those counts over the last 24 months I wish we'd given him a wide berth. To me he's a complete waster as a person and a player. If he proves me wrong over the next 12 months I will be the first to hold my hand up and say I was wrong.
  16. Is Watt cup tied for the Kilmarnock game.
  17. Yeah but like me you will also have seen ex players who respected the club and left in the right manner treated well even when linin up against us. Charles Dunn for one and a few others beside. Sure fans are irrational and fickle but generally the majority of our fans don't turn on an ex player if that player played fair by us. There will of course always be exceptions any support but the "majority" are respectful to those who were respectful to us.
  18. I don't decry him for wanting the big cash move to Dundee Utd , we all would, but he rubbed our noses in it and had some back handed digs at us. He could have left saying "I loved my time at Motherwell however financially I had to make to move"... fans would have been miffed but would have accepted it because we all know we cant compete with clubs like Utd on wages.
  19. its like an obsession with us, if you played for us before you are guaranteed a second gig.
  20. That's a rewriting of history. Motherwell made him a good offer , Dundee Utd offered him far more. He left cos he wanted to go to Dundee Utd and threatened to down tools if we didn't let him go. Then more or less gave us a two fingered salute, despite all the badge kissing pish. The guys had more clubs than Tiger Woods which shows you the mindset of him as an individual. However that's all ancient history. He's here and we live with it for good or bad.
  21. Pretty much my view. I'd be more interested why he cant get into the starting 11 of a team promoted .. is it cos he's been pish or as is often said about him a disruptive influence. This is a hard one for me , as an individual I think he's an arse. Whether he's an asset or not it is a real gamble but by fuck we ain't half a home for waifs and strays if they played with us before.
  22. The way Kilmarnock are playing they shouldnt expect to beat East Kilbride Thistle.
  23. I watched their game today , they are truly woeful. Truth be told Id rather face them when they havent been quite so dreadful. I've seen this script more times than I care to remember. Team with fuck all wins , playing shite , turn up at Fir park and we give the customary assist.
  24. This game is hugely important for us. Kilmarnock have been truly horrific, I watched all their European games and their two SPFL games. We lose to this shower of shite and we can look forward to a struggle.
