  1. Personally I think he will be trying to bring in a central striker as a minimum.
  2. I don’t think there is anything outside the top two, not a single team that stands out.
  3. It is actually ok to support Motherwell and be happy, I never get the “happy clapper” line just because an individual supporter has a level of faith. It may be that faith ends up less than justified but surely it’s better than always seeing the negatives.
  4. Long certainly has a degree of skill, he’s just struggled with the pace of the game early on, how many times has he overrun the ball.
  5. Hylton and Tait were dropped, if he had dropped everyone who underperformed last week we would have a different starting 11. There has to be a level of common sense.
  6. Personally i’m always wary of the crap that can sometimes come with them.
  7. Interesting line up, I guess Tait and Hylton pay the price of last weeks performance.
  8. Robinson’s pre match interview is pretty much as expected, back to being support of the players after giving some a bit of a doing after the Hearts game. He’s pretty consistent in the way he works, it’s a ploy he’s often used.
  9. We won’t be attending, don’t agree with the increase in pricing so Hamilton won’t be getting a penny out of us until they have a rethink.
  10. Hartley back down to league one, Scott needs to go out on loan, minimum a new forward, midfielder, and wide man to come in.
  11. He was probably off his game because his team mate in front of him was as good as sitting in the stand. I’ve got far less patience with Hylton’s “performance”.
  12. I would doubt he was praising them.
  13. He made it very plain in the post match interview he took responsibility for the signings, I though that in itself was quite telling. His comments ere obviously not aimed at those already at the club from last season.
  14. I think the worry this time is that Robinson is been very critical of many of the new signings, he’s never done that before.
  15. Na, he needs to go out, always has. He’s not at the stage of his development to be starting games at the top level. I think the only reason some people want him starting is because he’s come through the ranks, playing him risks him going backwards with his confidence taking a real knock.
  16. Well that was enjoyable. I night that would show how the season would pan out told us a hell of a lot. I think it’s all been said already but yep, a complete shambles of a performance. Hylton, Seedorf, Long, Cole really were awful, Gillespie suddenly seems a liability for some reason. Scott showed again why he should be nowhere near the first team at this point in his career, surely everyone can now see it. Ok Tait did not have his best game but take a look back at the highlights and see what support he had from Hylton, I had forgotten he was even on the park at one point, he was totally invisible, I would have taken him off after 20 minutes. Gillespie on the other side had Seedorf who was hardly any better. We really were second best against a very ordinary Hearts side. Robinson says he takes responsibility for the new signings which of course he has to do, they looked wonderful against the lower league teams but look completely out of their depth at this level ( Gillespie and Polworth excluded). I’m very much a glass half full supporter but came away from that pretty demoralised.
  17. Outside of Celtic and Rangers we have Hearts,Killy, St Johnstone, Hibs who all look to be going backwards, Aberdeen hardly spectacular, and maybe the dark horses in Ross County. Top four looks up for grabs to any half decent team showing a bit of consistency.
  18. I would never say easy, and it certainly won’t be easy this time. However I certainly don’t think we have anything to fear.
  19. Are they honestly any better than us ? Looking at highlights of their games this season they have been pretty awful.
  20. To be fair no club with an average attendance of 4000 should be getting near the old firm, if anyone does you have to question the club with 60,000 attendances. We will never have a squad of players that have the technical ability of of a club with players full of multi million pound players. Certainly not in the modern era.
  21. Really outside Celtic and Rangers there is nothing to be afraid of.
  22. No real shock, we all know the standard of Scottish football is very poor, probably around league one level down south outside of the top two. Celtic have the money to purchase players that are Championship/ Lower Premier league level.
  23. Gillespie has been fantastic, why on earth would we want to drop him after one indifferent display ?
  24. For me the first real test of where we stand. Celtic and Rangers top two, don’t think anyone else is going to be that amazing.
