  1. He’s a Celtic fan, same as the rest of them. I sometimes visit his house wearing an England top just to wind him up.
  2. Sadly this gives them the opportunity to do that. My brother in law is a Celtic season ticket holder and is already spouting off about it. We just come out if it as being out of order and let’s be honest if they had done it we would all be condemning it on here. Unfortunate.
  3. In that situation we should have given it back, exactly the same way we would have expected them to do. Let them play their games, that’s what the old firm do. We dont drop down to their level
  4. As expected, Or show a bit of class and leave that crap to the old firm and there obsession with the world being against them. Robinson is doing just fine, let’s just get behind our guy and leave the rubbish to them. No real surprise today against a club with huge resources next to ours and we move on to the winnable games.
  5. I think the club has done pretty well of late, both on transfer fees, and with players signing new contracts.
  6. I think scoring a winner against Celtic at their place is a pretty long shot so you should be ok.
  7. I’m a huge fan of Turnbull, think he will end up in the Premiership down south at a top club in a couple of years. I like Hastie and would love to see him sign up ( and still think he will) Is he the same level of talent as Turnbull ? At this point i’m still not sure, work in progress.
  8. 3-0 to Celtic, far and away still the strongest squad in Scotland. We have had an amazing run in part due to a fairly easy run of fixtures but this is a step up in quality. Hope to be proven very wrong.
  9. Sadly it’s been coming, Hearts by far the better team.
  10. Gorrin is going to get sent off at this rate, and Hearts will end up getting a penalty simply because they will wear the ref down with the constant appeals. Hearts however look very capable of pulling this back regardless.
  11. My worry would still be a big offer coming in from down south which turns his, and his agents head. I do however believe he wants to stay with us.
  12. Really good to read those comments from Hastie, hopefully Maguire is another wanting to commit.
  13. I must admit I was pretty excited at the signing with lots of talk about his quality, there are times i’ve actually forgotten he is even with us. Pretty shocked at his condition when I first saw him, he just looked a million miles away.
  14. Yes, i’m hopefull given that, more good news to come ?
  15. I’m a Motherwell fan but if offered a deal that tripled my wage I would move regardless.
  16. You see this is where it gets out of order along with other lines in the past like Turnbull and Robinson had fallen out. Really this sort of crap should never be posted as the player deserves better.
  17. Sadly my writing style does tend to lean towards “other world” at times.
  18. Let’s see how Maguire does today, just about to kick off on BBC.
  19. I would image his offer will be very much at a first team level, just where it is next to our higher earners.
  20. As his posts just about always are in my view.
  21. I guess until he played a few first team games there was always a degree of not knowing if he could make the step up. In truth there still is given he’s yet to play against the top teams. The club have to balance that with the level of contract they offer him, start breaking the wage structure and the risk is the club spiral back into debt. Regarding Scott and Maguire they are still far from the finished article. I watched Maguire lately against Thistle and he obviously has talent but made a couple of costly mistakes. Robinson stated lately they have offered contracts to Scott and Maguire, I would imagine those contracts are at a sensible level.
  22. Personally I would let Frear go, I think we can find better regardless.
