Yeah, even a year a ago would have helped him. We're now, what, almost two years down the line from his first start for Motherwell, and the truth of the matter is he's no further forward as a first team player. Yes, you could argue he's not been given a run of games, but you could counter that by saying he's not shown enough in the cameos he's had (I believe it's one assist and no goals) to be given those starts. Catch 22 I suppose. If he continues as is until January, he simply has to get out on loan to play first team football. It would be a real shame if it were to fizzle out until the end of his contract. While I always support bringing young players through and doing our best to tie them to long term deals, we are now looking at the possibility in three and a half year deals given to Thomas and Watt amounting to very very little.

You throw away £60 per season to park in a school next to the ground (I assume it'll either be Knowetop or Fir Park primary) when there is a plethora of places and streets you can park a car within 5 minutes walking distance to the stadium (and they cost £60 less than your "season ticket"). You must have plenty of money to play with if you can piss it away like that. I also see next to no benefit, considering if you go straight to your car after the game, you'll need to drive through a big crowd of people who are walking out of the very ground you've parked next to.

No he didn't. By the time Hammell made his debut, squad numbers were in play. He's never worn the number 4 shirt. I'm sure he's worn 25, 16 and latterly 3 during his time with Motherwell. Although I'm sure Joeboy will be along soon with official confirmation.
