I know there may be something about the cost of stewarding going up with more people in etc, but you could launch this offer by saying as long as the tickets are bought in advance. Get a free kids one. Gives everyone time to plan these things. I think the days of people waking up on a Saturday and saying to themselves "I fancy going to the game today" are long gone. Credit where it's due to MFC, they do offer this with the season tickets. I moved to the Cooper Stand this season to take advantage of getting two free kids season tickets. So they are doing something. I'd be interested to know just how many people PATG on a match-to-match basis? From an average Motherwell crowd of 3000-3500, I'd assume the vast majority would be ST holders.

I think a sell-on clause will be our best hope of long term cash. I think anything north of £500k will be seriously considered. At the end of the day, for a guy we bought for £30k 18 months ago, it's decent business. Comparing it to a potential Ross McCormack transfer is daft. McCormack is a proven goalscorer at that level. A club at the top of the Championship will be willing to take that gamble. £12m-£15m will be worth it, if he scores the goals with takes that club up and earns them 10x that fee. See Jordan Rhodes for another example. £9m 'Boro paid for him six months ago. They got promoted, and already he'll be relegated to the bench now they've signed Negredo. He's served his purpose, and no doubt he'll be back in the Championship in six months on loan. Great deal all round for 'Boro.
