Me and Sharon will be back next season for sure, especially as we can get a 10% discount. Great that the Cooper is back with whom it belongs, and here's hoping we can attract an increased support for 2009/10.

To be honest talk of a play off is very premature. Its an unlikely scenario as I believe there will be a decisive winner in the battle for 6th place. If we win tomorrow it'll be us as Hibs won't be good enough to beat Rangers. As for McGhee's rallying cry, good for him. Folk were criticising him earlier in the year for caring more about his own career than about Motherwell, this proclamation puts this to bed for me.

Superb news, and it should give a boost to the fans who will hopefully turn up in huge numbers to back the lads on Saturday, who in turn will be boosted by a large home support and win the match! Great to see the club listening to the fans and long may it continue.

It was the St Johnstone match, but he has done us in plenty other matches too. Here's hoping we get a turn around this weekend, we sorely need it!

Excellent shout Tam, 100% agree. We need a busy and positive Well crowd on Saturday, and considering its on Setanta at lunchtime its likely the crowd will be smaller. However a cut price deal could entice a few more out of the pubs and into Fir Park.

Given the balance of play, how many chances we created, not to mention how poor Aberdeen were, its definitely two points dropped for me. Having said that, I feel we can still make the top six and at least push the European race to a thrilling conclusion.

That's now only one defeat in thirteen games, which on the face of it is superb, but if we don't make the top six it'll be the draws that cost us. Today we were dominant for most of the game against a frankly pish Aberdeen side. They were happy to put the boot in and for the most part the ref was fairly lenient, with Severin the biggest beneficiary. From our point of view we played well but missed too many chances, and we really need to practice our long range shooting! Ibrox next week becomes a game we need to take something from.

Hopefully Crags will be fit as Maros is out already, but either B-Mac or Coach could step in to centre half comfortably if necessary. Las will probably step into the midfield in Maros' absence. I'd also start Clarky ahead of Sutty and go at them from the off. For me it is a must win, even in terms of confidence amongst everyone. Given we have to visit Ibrox next week three points on Saturday will send us there in a more confident mood. Any win would be good, especially as we haven't even scored against them so far this season, let alone taken a point. We will this weekend though, 2-0 I think.

There were a couple of games that free buses were run, that lead to the formation of the Edenvale Travel Club. The support at away games certainly increased initially after that.

Even if we get in through the fair play route, it will make for a far more interesting pre-season than usual.

You make a valuable point mate, but I don't see the sense in having both Iwelumo and Fletcher on the bench, as they are too similar. Clarky at least provides a different option.

My dad was a Clyde fan in his younger days, coming from Rutherglen as he did. His dad took him and instilled in him that you should always support your local team. He took me to my first game in April 1982 against Clydebank at Fir Park when we were in Division One. It ended 0-0 but was enough to clinch the championship. So I saw no goals but did witness a trophy presentation!

St Mirren 0 Motherwell 4 A terrific performance from the Well lads with some cracking goals too. The first was a left footed strike by Fitzy from the edge of the box, and the second was a wonderfully crafted move finished clinically by Dazzler. In the second half big Bob smashed home a 25 yarder, and Dazzler made it four near the end. The team also included McGarry, whilst a special mention goes to young defenders Shaun Hutchinson and Jon Page who were up against Flipper and Wyness and did superbly.

There is a lot wrong with the game today, but also a lot right too, its not all doom and gloom. There needs to be stronger links between clubs, authorities and fans to build bridges that have crumbled recently. As the cost of fitba increases so the fun you can have at the game diminishes. The lack of atmos is killing the spectacle, with the cops and stewards to blame. The general cost of following your team has to be realistic too, especially in today's climate. I believe a salary cap similar to what Brisbane suggested would be great too, meaning clubs would be limited to a maximum percentage of their turnover being used for salaries.
