You make a valuable point Al. Everyone is assuming it'll be either us or Hibs in the last Top Six slot, but both United and Aberdeen are only 4 points in front so its wide open. I think we'll make it, but only just. Once there Europe is a real possibility.

Amazing how time flies, and how in that time Motherwell have lost another three of our own aside from Coop. Today we remember Coop but also Thomson, O'Donnell and Dolan. RIP.

For me it was a good point considering how poorly we played. A better team than Killie would've beaten us so we have to look upon it as a point gained. That said a win would've been a fantastic boost given that neither Hibs nor Aberdeen won, but we are far from out of the top six or European contention, so no panic or negativity yet.

You can look at this in a couple of ways. Either that as Killie haven't won this year they're due a win, especially as they're near the bottom now and considering our record on live TV. The more positive view would be that records are there to be broken, and we should look at how we're playing just now. For me a win is essential if we have ambitions to play in Europe next season, although a draw wouldn't be a disaster. I'm going for a narrow win for us with big Cillian on target.

Hope so Haggis, would restore ones faith in footballers wouldn't it?

My first favourite Well player was Johnny Gahahan on the wing!

I'm pretty certain that moves are being made quietly by the club to sort something for next season. He certainly seems to like it here and his relationship with the fans will surely help. Fingers crossed we can keep him.

I would start with Cillian and Sutty next week, with a great sub in Clarky to come on in the second half. It is a very nice problem to have and let's hope it keeps working well.

There are conflicting reports regarding Coach's availability, so its either him or BMac in defence, Going forward I'd leave things as they are. We need to win and I think we will, maybe just by a goal though.

Delighted for Crags, a great servant to the club and also likes St Helens rugby league too, top man!! The opposition shouldn't matter, its about honouring a great professional who genuinely cares about Motherwell FC.

A huge well done to Diane and everyone who worked their bollox off on this event, as far as I'm concerned it was a roaring success and here's to many more.

I agree with Flow, we won't fully appreciate how good a manager McGhee is until he's doing that job somewhere else. For the doubters, have faith, he is top notch.

If Buzz does leave, and it looks increasingly likely that he will, then I expect us to sign another goalie to compete with Michael Fraser for the first choice position.

No-one was poor but I felt Shug drove us forward and was at times our most potent attacking threat. Great goal and a terrific midfield masterclass. Let's hope he stays.

We'll not play better and lose for a while. The only disappointment for me was the result because for large spells we looked impressive. The goals we lost were hugely frustration defensively, albeit the winner took a big deflection. That apart I was happy with the team, thought Shug was immense and a great strike too. if we keep playing like that we'll finish fourth no worries.

Stratford's on Gorgie Road is a regular haunt for Well fans, nae bother getting in and the locals are fine too.
