It just amuses me when people have to let the world know that they don't like something.

To be fair, for Aberdeen to have played 6 league games, scored zero goals, and sit 12th in the league (one place below Rangers) is quite newsworthy.

They're not as good as they were last year, but will still be a very tough game. Just stick to the plan and see what happens. The way the Celtic fans are right now, an early goal for us could turn the crowd.

Welsh is exactly the kind of central defender we were needing and has been performing well. Even without Slattery and Just, the midfield was excellent again, and Watt edged it again for me. Will be interesting to see what JBA does next week without Welsh. Start Koutroumbis and play him or SOD out of position, or start with Balmer.

Far too early in the season to be worrying about that. And far too early in our "project" to be worrying about that. Let's see where we both are in February or March and then take stock.

They were on a terrible run when we beat them on Saturday. Having said that, there are fine margins between most teams, and they have some decent players - so it's important that we are a bit more clinical than we were at the weekend so we remove any confidence they might have early on.

The financial benefit makes it well worth playing in Europe - especially if you make it to the group stages. I do. That was probably the second worst for me. But Airdrie was the worst for a few reasons for me. Partly because it was the first semi final I had been to and, naively, expected us to win (even more when it went to a replay). Partly because Airdrie were genuine local rivals that season. Partly because of the Stuart Rennie steps debacle that cost us the game.

Nothing comes close to losing to Airdrie in a semi final (replay). All the others have been water off a duck's back, and a loss here would be no different.

I'm starting to think you've never seen youngsters integrated into new teams before. Giving them a 10 minute workout in a game with no pressure is pretty standard. Otherwise you end up with fans posting on websites calling them dug shite because they hadn't got up to speed instantly with their new team mates the first 60 minutes they played.

I'm also going for Welsh, because he is exactly what we were needing in central defence, and it was great to get a clean sheet today. RCC looks like he will be a good addition and was a great strike for his goal. Shout out to Longelo, who is consistently good.
