  1. We currently don't have a squad capable of Thu-Sun-Thu Euro football, so happy to take a point after it looked like we ran out of steam at the 30 minute mark. A stronger bench certainly helped, and Kanga could be as good a piece of business as Watt or Just.
  2. Ran out of steam, but still unbeaten. Take your pick...
  3. Even by VAR's low standards that was a terrible decision.
  4. There's isn't a team on the planet that scores with every good chance they create.
  5. Because VAR and its officials are mince.
  6. I don't blame JT for his last miss - was a great run and a decent effort. Cookie hits the second anyway.
  7. Not a fan of the stutter, but he's done that for all the ones he's scored too.
  8. Kanga and Hodge both take them too I believe.
  9. Must be a pen, surely. No idea what Gogic was thinking there.
  10. JT proving yet again he's much more effective from a wide position.
  11. Have we? Or have we just been like most teams in our league and won/lost our fair share? Next time we lose a game on telly or in front of a big crowd I expect the "we never win in front of a big crowd" trope to be rolled out despite the number of victories we had last season. It's human nature. Just the same as it's human nature to forget the many times we didn't let teams break/make records, because those many times are unremarkable and very forgettable.
  12. Facebook is famous for its factual accuracy and well researched posts, so I have no doubt it must be true,
  13. I'm happy for JT to stay and see how he develops under Alfred. It's easy to forget he's only 23. If a good offer comes in and he wants to move on, I'm OK with that too.
  14. So what I get from that is that he wants to come back. Also kudos to his kids for supporting us now.
  15. Slattery playing for Wednesday in League One is a bit like MIka Biereth playing for us in the Premiership. He's too good for that level. Glad he's doing well and hopfeully he'll be in the Championship next season,
  16. I was at the old stadium the night Billy Abercromby received 3 red cards.
  17. A world class save from Big Ox in the Fife derby tonight.
  18. JBA hasn't even won a game this season.
  19. We were unfortunate to hit a brick wall in the play-off round, but we navigated all the legs in the other ties with a high level of competence, despite our concerns about new players, new manager and lack of time together. If we can continue to build on that, we'll be fine this season.
  20. Usually, but see Article 63 I posted above "In the event of a serious offence, the UEFA disciplinary bodies are entitled to augment this punishment, including by extending it to other competitions." Not that there's any chance of that happening here.
  21. Article 63 of the UEFA Conference League Rules: As a rule, a player or team official sent off by the referee is automatically suspended for the next match in a UEFA club competition (i.e. UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League or UEFA Super Cup). In the event of a serious offence, the UEFA disciplinary bodies are entitled to augment this punishment, including by extending it to other competitions.
