Each stream uses a different kind of player - some browsers support one type better than others. It's possible there is actually a backup video stream too that is available on these players, but it's not clear if that's the case.

Anything with a plastic pitch is a downgrade for me. I'd rather stand on a wobbly step to watch a game on grass than sit in an armchair to watch a game on plastic.

Has any Scottish club ever moved to a better stadium? I'm struggling to think of any.

Also a board that knows when we won our last competitive game.

It looks a bit wet.

Yodo's been sniffing his crayons again.

The Hull deal seemed to happen pretty quickly and close to the end of the window, so I think they got a jump on their competitors. As you say, no doubt that at least some of those other clubs were also tracking him. Now that Hull are dropping down a league maybe they think they can entice him away. I have no idea how he'll develop, but Scott always looked like a footballer to me. Craigan used to complain he didn't shoot often enough and Robinson would get frustrated that he didn't use his size to his best advantage, but those are things that can be coached. He drifted in and out of games sometimes like youngsters are prone to do, but we definitely missed him when he moved on.

Not just those two. I think we started getting our act together as far back as the Marvin Johnson deal.

Not sure how European games factor into the mix for MFC TV. It's not listed as one of the upcoming fixtures yet (although that might be due to not knowing opponents). Given the issues there are with domestic cup games, however, I'll be pleasantly surprised if it's available for streaming.

£3 million base for Turnbull plus £750k for his new and improved knee.
-
Also, kudos to Lamie who I thought was poor on Wednesday, but did a good job on Saturday.
-
Turnbull is getting back to his old self, which is great to see - but he needs a bit more practice with his dead balls. Some really poor corners in the last couple of games which is unusual for him.

Seedorf was clearly offside. When he jumped and flicked his leg in the air he was either trying to deflect the ball or get out of the way of the shot. If he was trying to deflect the ball then he falls foul of: clearly attempting to play a ball which is close when this action impacts on an opponent If he was trying to get out of the way of the shot he falls foul of: making an obvious action which clearly impacts on the ability of an opponent to play the ball And look at where he's standing in relation to the keeper just before the ball is deflected. Looks like he's obstructing vision to me.

Well one of us was right. I'll leave working out who that was as an exercise for the interested reader

Sadly, the replays confirm it was a good call.

I don't really care if my defenders are good footballers, but they do need to keep passes simple and safe. First priority is defence, though.
-
If we can just drill it into him to keep his passing short and simple it would be fine.

Looking forward to see what Lang can do as a starter.

O'Donnell has played at left back a number of times and is a natural full back. If you are making someone switch it's far better to switch someone like that than stick Grimmy there. Positioning is half the battle and if you normally play full back it comes naturally. I have zero confidence in Lamie at left back after the Livi game. He was a mile out for most of it, 100% to blame for the 1st goal and played a big part in losing the second. Any time Livi attacked down the right wing he was caught out. (I don't blame him for not being very good, as it's not really his position). The irony is we had Carroll, Dunne, McGinley and even Donnelly that can play left back and only Grimmy on the right - and we are struggling to fill the LB slot. I'd be delighted if Lamie's performance was just a temporary blip and he plays a blinder there in the future with O'Donnell at RB, but I'll need convincing.

It was certainly a different beast in the 70s and players like Big Tam prospered in it. Other like Gregor Stevens (first time around), Stuart McLaren, Willie McVie and the likes were in a similar mould - but Jaws was a class apart. (It also enhances the feats of guys like Graham and Pettigrew who played against it - and often on pitches that were like ploughed fields - but managed to excel at the game.)
-
O'Donnell was in the papers yesterday saying he's played at left back before and happy to play there again. If it's a choice between Grimmy at RB and O'Donnell at LB vs. O'Donnell at RB and Lamie at LB I'll take the former. It's far from ideal, but Lamie was a liability on Wednesday and his ridiculous handball changed the momentum of the first half just as we were starting to make some progress. With 5 subs, it's easy enough to switch to the other option if it's not working out.

You think we're better off sitting in and letting our "pish fullbacks" defend for 90 minutes? Maybe you need to get out the basement and grab yourself some sunshine.
-
Best way to tackle Hibs is attacking. Given our defensive problems, even more important to be on the front foot for this game. Like to see what Lang can do at some point as I thought he looked lively in his first outing.

You need another season in the Reserves before you are ready to step up and pick teams.
