Didn't want to start a new thread on this, but noticed that we won our last 2 games with Bobby Madden and Willie Collum as refs. Just a data point the next time the "that ref always cheats us out the game" discussions start.

Frear was definitely the best of the three at the weekend. Gboly looked knackered from the start and Hastie was good in spells, but - as you'd expect from a youngster at this stage - took on his man or went for the byline at times when an earlier pass would have been better (as his assist against Hibs proved). No doubts that he'll improve on that the more game time he gets, and it's not the worst problem to have.

We were a goal up, mate. We were playing for the win. (You do know we won, right?)

With Gorrin, Turnbull, Hastie starting and Frear, Bigi and McCormack on the bench, I don't think it's unreasonable to suggest that Robinson is trying to change the way we play. It might not work out, but there are definitely more footballers in the team now.

We've played better and lost, as they say. Every time I have seen Dundee in the past couple of seasons they look decent enough until they get in front of goals - and they just look miles out. Important win that takes us 13 points clear of Accies (and will keep us 2 points behind Hibs after their inevitable meltdown tomorrow )
