  1. Last decent game I saw at Accies was when they had a terracing and grass.
  2. Sadly, they have 10th written all over them again this season.
  3. The explanation is we are one of the few teams that regularly fills (or nearly fills) the away stand, so they want to milk us for a few more quid.
  4. Tickets are usually a police requirement rather than a club requirement. As for the number of turnstiles open, that is typically down to saving money,
  5. To be fair, I can't imagine Accies fans asking to pay more to watch us play them. I suppose they must need some extra cash to help maintain that well manicured, bowling green of a pitch.
  6. According to our official twitter, if you don't want to buy online at Livi's website you can buy them at the Almondvale Suite on Saturday,
  7. If he's looking for first team football, he's not going to get ahead of Gallagher and Dunne.
  8. Not to mention collar and tie. I don't think I'm that old (at least in my head), but when I started going to games as a wean in the early 70s it wasn't unusual to see collars and ties in the crowd.
  9. Not sure about this season, but off the top of my head, last season it was Livi, St Mirren, Killie, Accies - and I think Rangers (there are so many streams for OF games I might be misremembering - we definitely had an official stream for Celtic away, but I think Rangers was unavailable). When I emailed Craigh Hughes a few weeks ago he said they were hoping to have a confirmed list of the away matches "out soon" but I haven't seen that yet.
  10. Not that he's a bad player, but with Dunne, Hartley, Gallagher, Donnelly and Maguire all able to play central defence, I think we have enough cover in that position.
  11. I'd be amazed if Hastie is anything but a bit-part player at this point in his Ibrox career. He'll be crossing his fingers the Kent deal is definitely off. Rangers rarely play guys his age, so his expectation must be a loan or a spell in the development squad.
  12. Look like you can also buy tickets on Livi's website and print them at home or download to your phone.
  13. And Dolly Menga is out on a season long loan to an Angolan team.
  14. Just the audio I think. Livi are one of the away grounds that don't let us stream video for whatever reason.
  15. So it's "Friday you're out, love".
  16. If Livi continue the form they showed in the second half of last season we have a good chance of winning this one. They racked up a number of points early with their unconventional style but slipped back down the table as teams worked them out. If they persist with the same approach, we should be ready to match it.
  17. You can use this link for the image. And this link for the most recent tweet.
  18. Sound advice for football shirts and for life.
  19. On the other hand, don't fall into the trap of judging teams on their Betfred/preseason games. There's plenty of time before the window closes for teams to stregthen their squads. While I'm optimistic, I don't expect anything than a battle to make top 6 - same as most seasons.

I think the 1935 is still my favourite hoop, collar, shorts combo.

Which is mostly accurate - except the new team is technically Clydebank. (I miss my trips out to the "first all seater stadium in the UK")
  22. As I said, I only saw us live in the league December - and we lost 6 of them, and lucky to draw the one we did. And while the cup games were certainly entertaining, it seemed like we didn't "earn the right to play football" in the league until the last game of the season against Accies when Turnbull, Bigi and Ciftci were let off their leashes. (It's quite possible, however, that my view of our league form was tainted by those abject performances I witnessed live and the brief youtube highlights each week).
  23. Of course not. Unless the new owner is happy to lose a few million to pursue a hobby - then it will work.
  24. I'm thinking the 2017/18 season when Accies destroyed us at Fir Park in December when Hartley sold 2 goals and was sent off after the game. Tanner scored the opener, Moult and Cadden were out injured and Campbell went off early. We played 7 games that month (I was at 2 of them) and managed 1 draw and 6 defeats. The cup runs were great, but the league football entertainment was dire - and Tanner was one of the few (or only) players we had that could beat men and pass a ball.
  25. I think he was our second top scorer (and number one for assists) when he got injured. Given our dire form - especially the first half of that season - that wasn't too shabby.
