Not too bad going forward, but our makeshift defence looks exactly like a makeshift defence. Even had Ox spilling a shot. Sparrow, Maswanhise and Kaleta all looking dangerous on the front foot.

That was better - with Kaleta and Maswanhise we need to mix it up with balls over the top.

He definitely looked more confident today. He's been a regular starter recently which obviously makes a huge difference to form.

Underrated by the commentator. He took the pen with his right foot and slotted home the rebound from 10 yards or so with his left foot.

Maybe he needs to start playing better. Having said that, I wasn't expecting a goal machine after a few starts even without injuries or new babies, or round trips to Oz to get in the way. Wenger used to say it took 6 months to adapt to a new team in the same league. Longer if you came in from a different country.

A Casey/Blaney combo sounds like a recipe for conceding a soft goal. Need the wingbacks to be on top of their game to cut out crosses.
