I don't think he is rubbish but as an overall assesment I don't think we are any more or less likely to win matches when he is gone. I'll probably get pelters but I actually prefer Ainsworth over Johnson.

The sad thing is that he is in the right. However, pretty much all of the ref's let it go cause there is so much going on in the box from both teams. Rather than call the first thing they see they just ignore the whole stramash. No clue how the referes are advised to handle those situations but it's certainly a problem when one of them is dealing with it in a different manner compared to all the others, regrdless of whether he is right or not.

Not sure what team will show up for this, form a mental and personnel point of View. Samson should be out but from what McGhee has been saying sounds like he may still be in. Hopefully what he says in public doesn't match what he's really thinking. Have no clue what Blyth is like but by sounds like he should be target man so play McDonald to feed off of him. Why not go there and have a go??? Ue the pace of Ainsworth and Johnson. 3-1 for Super well with Lionel grabbing at least 2 goals. Should be looking for some sort of reaction from Wednesday night going ito this one. Added to that, there should be no need to overthink the tactics. Hopefully a more positive approach to the game, going out to win it, instead of damage limitation. Looking to see Johnson Cadden and Lionel all have a good game................along with the rest of them too I hope!!! COYW !!!!!!!

McGhee and the palyers need to adopt a different attitude when we approach these games. Time after time we sit back and let them play and take the hiding. FFS at least have Celtic feel like they've been in a game instead af a training exercise.

What we need is for Johnson to have a stormer tomorrow night and rip Celtic apart. We get into next round and his value and appeal goes through the roof.

Haven't really seen much of the new guys other than glimpses highlights but sounds like we have done pretty well with at least 3 of the new signings, in McHugh, Heneghan and Tait. I think the general opinion on here is that they are doing well...Praise indeed!!! Improving about 25% of your team will hopefully translate into better results and performances on the park. Add into that Samson is a pretty decent goalie ( I think ) We have a goal scorer in Moult, the expeience of McDonald, Cadden just keeps getting better, Hammy back playing regular, Johnson looking like he's interetsted and fired up, Ainsworth looking up for it as well. I think havein better player players around wil lalso help Lasley play better. Here's the jinx part............Really looking forward to this season and some good entertaining football.

I said something along the same lines that if we can get good Money for Johnston...give Thomas a run in the team and some coaching and i think he will turn out to be pretty good for us.
