Neither for nor against. I do accept there is poor legislation with poor execution of any law passed, as the health hazard/cause injury ideal has no real basis. You realise many of these devices are utilised in day to day life without issue? Enclosed spaces to record air flow for example? All points mentioned allude to the other debate. Disagree in the ‘acting in the interests of the club’ ideal you recall - not in the theory, but, how the message is delivered. Certain club individuals were involved in the wording of the statement & were advised it wasn’t constructive & would be an understatement. Not a good environment. Choice words. Mirrors the dysfunctional outlook many believe there to be. Would take all clubs’ to accept strict liability to see authorities take action. I’d discount the whataboutery of sanctions on one and not another. It’s not the refereeing fraternity likely to make any decisions. Your opinion is clear.

Fair enough, fan culture like football itself has evolved though. Society just as much.
-
Have I said I condone it? Just find the club stance questionable given their use of images past & present. This ‘if’ the authorities get involved is a misnomer. No club is subject to strict liability for the actions of fan behaviour, censure maybe. it’s not a new phenomenon, high time there was adult conversations and an appreciation by those in authority the spectacle can be managed safely and work together for the greater good before they lose any semblance of control they have, not the control they try to exert.
-
Quite right? Happy enough to use the pictures across social media platforms, but, not condoning their use. Can’t have it all.

Take a day off. Moronic

Not so sure

Nailed. A confidence and ability to play patiently, everyone knows & understands their role. Some contrast on recent seasons. Could be argued the manager needed a tough spell like this to see how he gets us through adversity. He’ll learn even more about his squad.
-
No matter how many times you repeat that it’s still a falsehood.
-
I’ll give you revisionism… and raise you contradiction.
-
Doft my cap, perfect summation.

Appreciated 👍

Freed up cash? There’s a world of difference to that and the balancing the books as the manager alluded to in his conference. Zero correlation.
-
Is one out/one in a thing in this circumstance? Not sure paying up a contract leaves much room for manoeuvre for bringing in a free agent, I’d be inclined to go with the former and the use of number 10’s which is serving us well.

Money aside, I’d wager their failure to register the signing of their main target from Harrogate Town prompted the move. https://www.wrexhamafc.co.uk/news/2023/september/statement--luke-armstrong-sept-06/

Under 18 Club Academy Scotland fixtures are generally Friday evenings and have been for some time

🤔 Not what I was asking… Plenty of merit in what you’ve just said & I’d align with that. The gravy train I allude to is the recruitment view taken that has too many not contributing as they should - certainly don’t question salaries offered.
-
Did we realise the sizeable transfer fee up front? Two decent amounts in training compensation? Think the outlook is short term pain, long term gain whilst reversing what essentially has been a gravy train for some.
-
See? Definitely not as daft as you make out. Amazes why you’re pilloried on here…
-
Bravo. Just out of curiosity- who keeps claiming ‘we’re skint’? Exhausting current budget is a world of difference from being ‘skint’…

Not most interpretations of ironic, but, now you’ve got that off your chest… I’ll take your points in isolation - you favoured a ‘relegation reboot’, seriously? Apparent high and mighty? Either are or are not. The ITK business has been done to death too as you don’t have to scratch the surface much. Club offer plenty of information on how they work and a likely scenario relegation could bring. The ‘reboot’ shows a lack of understanding & grasp on the reality, hence, clueless quip. As for your CEO whim - plenty recognise we’re being guided by someone who’s been of influence at the club for an amount of time. Just so happens his was not the only CV within the club suited to the role more than those the professionals were tracking. If he’s not “ambitious and intelligent” I wonder if he just bought his business acumen? Maybe if he got himself a social media presence you’d feel better?
-
Deflect. Deflect. Constant? Not been cryptic for a while, probably as little to protect, but, you batter in. Barry Norman you aren’t.
-
Belter. Your inane theory of a ‘relegation reboot’ shows your struggle. Clueless. We’ve not had a CEO demand for a few weeks right enough… a bit of a label if current custodian isn’t ambitious or intelligent. For all intents and purposes he’s already turned us inside out and starting afresh - he’s stopped the gravy train for starters.
-
Except FIFA hasn’t endorsed or approved anything more than 3rd Generation. 4G & 5G is a marketing ploy.
-
Quite the takes. Doubt I’ll be the only one struggling with both grasps of understanding & realism.
