Behave yourself. Not any other viewpoint, yours is easy to disprove. Still never answered the question - how does your possibility make us stronger? But, hey if it gets you a like or two batter in đ
-
Whatever. Itâs the same myth you spoke of previously. Some would suggest questionable behaviour tant amount to workplace bullying, but, thatâll be for the playersâ union to debate. Going beyond your realms of possibility, how does this make us stronger? The thinking it frees up a wage just because player X seeks to leave is folly. Thatâs the reality.
-
Ah! The mutual offload you peddled weeks back. Doesnât work in theory never mind in practise. Give it up
-
Reasoned debate đ
-
Not disagreeing, not the point being made though. Just seeing posted regularly on various platforms the misconception that weâve kept same formation as previous manager when we havenât. When you add in what some think theyâve been watching, their criticism is bordering on the absurd.
-
Itâs blatantly obvious? Recent months? Same tactics and game plan? Stick with a system/approach? Not endorsing current failings, but, formation has changed. Weâve reverted to 4-3-3 in last three matches from using 4-2-3-1 to match opposition faced. It really isnât that difficult.
-
Can we sack posters before Hammell succumbs? Slattery is due a suspension.
-
No. Iâd be surprised if that was even on the radar.
-
Moves made by St Johnstone were inextricably linked. Themâs the breaks, itâs proved costly but, we move on.

Played football much? What is it you want them to do? Seems opinion based on adopting a flying anorak approach chasing around the pitch launching into tackles. Take last 2 outings for example. Done the tasks being asked to do. Someone has to do the doggy runs, it brings a natural energy to the team & helps drive us forward more often than not. Covered every blade of grass at Ibrox and one reason Rangers never overran us as has been a theme last few months. Yesterday was spent matching the opposition so ball was overhead for majority. 10 minutes aside of a few misplaced passes, he snapped out of that. Our one midfielder whoâs willing to go beyond our forward line and capable of getting back. Said it before, the midfield has to be the sum of all parts - Both Alexander & Hammell looked to add the experienced head required. Had either been successful it wouldâve been of benefit to the relatively inexperienced Slattery and certainly Cornelius.

Defines insanity in most books - sticking with the same faces expecting a different result.
-
Deary me, see weâve signed a big name. 10 or 11 letters if youâd get it right. As daft as your claim. Those kids have never been murder to get away with anything. Out of all our problems those two making their way isnât even in the top ten.
-
Thatâs a belter even by your standards. Youâre also quoting a figure more than double that relayed to shareholders, even if the required work and longer term thinking hadnât been done it would be unlikely to see playing budget increased.
-
𤣠Prove me wrong? When you set up 4-2-3-1 as we do it revers to 4-5-1 when defending or it should. Itâs not difficult. itâs exactly how the team has set up for months now, choose to believe it or not. As for you Specsaverâs quip⌠bit juvenile, but, given your grasp on the argument itâs to be expected. Go on, make my day, Iâll have money on you rating Spittal and McGinn.
-
If you need it explained perhaps it ainât the game for you. They are set up as wide attacking players (not wingers, thatâs a golden age long passed some by) as part of a 4-2-3-1 or 4-5-1 depending on passage of play or âtransitionsâ as the split arses called it during World Cup coverage. Playing with 2 traditional no. 6 types in Goss & Slattery doesnât align with any 4-3-3 Iâm afraidâŚ
-
Iâm not convinced thatâs likely
-
Continual fatuation? Weâve not played 4-3-3 since Kilmarnock at Rugby Park. Perhaps, itâs time to watch and understand? This is not an endorsement of Connor Shields either
-
4-4-2? Deary me. Weâve a soft centre with 2 deep lying midfielders yet, you reckon taking a midfielder/attacking option out will solve our ills? Itâs dinosaur stuff. Has to get the balance right in 4-2-3-1 or variation of that he favours. Itâs a sum of all parts, it functions, our defensive line functions and assists our attacking options. The trick at ours is getting all three consistently.
-
Letâs see the centre back pairingâŚ
-
Highly unlikely as was any âsuccessâ
-
Pumped 4-1 yesterday. All about minutes thoughâŚ
-
Therein lies the problem. If Spittal is getting better every game weâll have some player in 2029!
-
1. I stand corrected.
-
Is he? As for your closing statement - nobody saying he has pace. What he does bring is an energy which is lacking. His engine alone (the pre requisite) will set him apart and theyâll have stats to back that up.
-
A midfield 3? Kind of negates your point as weâve set up 4-2-3-1 or a variation of since playing Inverness. Now, that may work in certain games - not to deviate and counter changes of others is Alexander like. it also gives rise to those branding KvV as lazy et all. The 3 attacking behind him never go beyond him to compliment the work he does do. Plenty questioning Hammel and the board decision to promote from within.
