  1. Exactly, Tom was on to a good thing at Motherwell, regular games, regular income and now the harsh reality of no team to play for has probably just hit him. A lesson learned, never quit your job, unless you have another job to go to.
  2. I always hard to tell from 10 minutes of edited You Tube footage, however this boy looks as though he can play a bit.
  3. Thistle are an average SPFL side with players who know and work hard for each other. With a settled side I would be expecting to beat them at Fir Park by at least two clear goals. Although going by what I have witnessed so far, a draw is the best we can expect. Hopefully it will all click into place on Saturday and Faddy, Vigurs & Co.will show just why we signed them. However, if the worst happens, I fear that this site could go into meltdown. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...
  4. No potential about it, it's an absolute certainty. It's an unwritten law that ex-players always come back and haunt their former clubs. I reckon Lawless, Forbes and Higginbotham will all get on the score sheet, to produce the best wanking threesome witnessed since Tommy Sheridan and Billy Davis last went to Cupids. 123 I only hope that we score four, to make any wanking celebration a little bit premature.
  5. Another settled team, another tough match, and on what I have saw so far Thistle look as if they can hold their own in the SPFL. At this moment in time I’d bite your hand off for a draw. A hard fought 2-2 draw.
  6. I would imagine these 'other costs' will also have a budget set aside when rneeded. However, there will always be something which may mean that an emergency float will be required.
  7. I’ve seen them given, however in my opinion it would have been a very soft penalty award. (I can’t believe I am saying that!)
  8. They used to be a little bit of a bogey team for us, in season 2003-04 they beat us 3-0 and 2-0 at Firhill, however we did managed two draws at Fir Park that season. Their overall league record against us is slightly better, with 70 wins to our 58, with 46 draws. I reckon we will get a hard earned draw, but only if we approach the game in the right manner. Like Inverness they are well organised and have played together as a team for sometime.
  9. Agreed, and thank god for Hibs as they always make everything feel much better.
  10. Far too early, I will wait until full time.
  11. If Inverness score next our small band of fans can leave early.
  12. Here’s hoping Inverness regret not scoring 3 or 4.
  13. 2-0 going on 4 before half time. Inverness are slicker, faster and far more dangerous than us at the moment. We need to score next in an attempt to get back into this match.

  15. Inverness name an unchanged side. I have the fear.
  16. Shocked that Anier has been left out of the starting eleven. Deserved his start in my opinion.
  17. Yes he is only 30, however the fact that he has been released by what was then a poor Aberdeen side says it all. Sadly the Scottish Championship beckons for Stephen.
  18. I'm afraid he has not shown that he is capable of reaching past heights. In fact I would go as far as to say he is sadly finished at the top level.
  19. They have brought a lot players in but unlike us they have kept most of the side that finished last season. Maybe when they start to use some of the new signings we may see a dip in their form.
  20. Agreed, Inverness have changed very little over the summer and should only get stronger. Partick Thistle are another side that look very settled and I am not looking forward to playing them in just over a weeks time (No doubt Lawless and Co will have something to prove.) I would prefer to have been playing St.Mirren, Killie or even Hearts away on Saturday. We have the players to win this match, it’s just a bit early for our new look team. It’s never easy playing against a settled side as we proved last year.
  21. So I assume that any loss is covered by the money that we have in the bank? If so, we just need to make sure that we don’t have too many losses.
  22. The best way I suppose, just as long as you can keep making enough profit so as not to require any overdraft facilities. So giving that, I assume we at least broke even last season?
