Kaled Kemas ever get his game for Algeria, a return?
-
Think McHugh should on be on the loan out list, he not ready for SPL fitba from what I've seen. I'd also add Saunders to that list provided Hutchison is fit and Reynolds isn't getting sold. And sort of young players Smith and Fitzpatrick if they over injury, if some first division club will have them a spell there to get playing again before manager decides on longer term future. Like to see Hutchison, Murphy and Forbes involved though all 3 have made enough impact to be in the squad regularly. Though a first division loan move might help Forbes also as after a bright start he does seem to have lost his way. Be interested to see if Brown can help him develop.

It hardly brand new, but just shows that if even the newer parts of the ground are something of a wreck what a state the older bits are! Anyone won a euromillions lately want to build us a new one?

Having just watched the highlights Ruddy has a rush of blood to the head. Craigan and Hately I think coming over to cover are just about keeping him at bay and Nade also gets a fortunate break of the ball in there and there was no need for Ruddy to rush over leaving a simple tap in to an empty net. Keeper error entirely.

guess it depends whit stands are out of action but could easily fit every home fan in the south and every away fan in the cooper. Assuming those two being the newer ones are less likely to be the affected ones but either way it very poor.

If McGarry features on saturday I hope he proves everyone wrong but if fit I'd much rather have seen Humphrey or Slane have come on. McGarry in his time has had his decent moments but even at his brief best he was a rarely a game changer so did strike me as an odd sub.

Lol in your case.... Seriously though, on the face of it does seem a bit mad but it not stopping you ordering a supersize or a pint if you wanting them and in many cases will stop people having that wee bit more. the world has gone fucking mad, but I suspect it always has been and likely always will be!
-
Fair enough but and I could be wrong here was it not that McDonalds was stopped from being allowed to ask you if you wanted to supersize it when you ordered an ordinary meal deal, "Would you like to supersize that sir/madam for just an extra 40p." Rather than not being allowed to sell them full stop. I think McDonalds later stopped doing supersize options voluntarily as they decided to try and present a healthier image, by doing things like salad options(with much extra salt in them) and what not. Not entirely sure as I've not been in one for years thankfully. They may well still do them for all I know.

You should be grateful for that alone and no that isn't my cheeky way of saying you are a fat bastard but just pointing out anything that minimises your intake of food as shite as McDonalds you should be more grateful for!

I'd forgotten about that method of transfering the hot water. Glad I didn't go near the hot drinks though no doubt many did on a cold day!

I reckon Mark McGhee was gonna feature in that edited post!

Don't get me started on the catering! It is the worst I have known it. Every match without fail they sell out of macaroni and chicken balti pies and do they ever seem to bring in more? If they do it must be one pie more a home match as if you not at the pie stand at latest 10 minutes into the game they are all away, the macaroni anyway. The Celtic game was an exception to this as they weren't ready until nearly halftime and despite going up to the stall about 3 or 4 times I just managed to get the last macaroni pie when they finally were. Saturday there no luck with getting the macaroni or the chicken balti, guy in front of me had no luck getting a hot dog and there was a sign saying no cola. To cap it off it shuts about 2 minutes in the the 2nd half every game. I used to prefer getting my pie(obviously a scotch or a steak at this time in the game) early in the 2nd half once the halftime queues had died away. Not anymore unless you watching the thing like a hawk as the shutters are down so quick the last customer must have to be quick to avoid losing a finger!

Any thoughts on the team for tomorrow? Seemingly Gordon Young is picking this one which might tend to suggest a leaning towards the younger lads? Not so sure that will be the case I suspect Craigan might well have a say. Not really sure what the team will be but would like to see something like this. GK: Ruddy RB: Hately LB: Hammell CB: Craigan CB: Reynolds RW: Humphrey DM: Lasley CM: Coke CM: Forbes LW: O'Brien CF: Jutkiwiecz A bit cautious maybe a point to stop the rot will be good enough before hopefully going onto to pump the Accies.

Gannon Sacked! Motherwell Part Company with Manager

Largely agree with that and whilst Yass has been largely murder and I'll be glad to see him gone you can see why he saw something in him and his ability to get forward. It was his lack of ability to manage said players, between the young guys, his finds and the core of players with experience already here we could have a half decent team but from bright beginnings it has been increasingly murder. Perhaps if he'd signed the contract and we'd stuck by him things may have come good but if he alienating all around him it is hard to see that happening. -
Hopefully a safe pair of hands, I daresay we could have done worse. Some decent man management alone should be enough to get more out of this squad. Just hope with the transfer window coming up not operating with hands tied. Also hope that Brown doesn't turf out the younger lads that have showed up well, Hutchison, Murphy and Forbes despite the latters poor form lately he clearly showed that their is a good player in there if can harness his talent and improve on his fitness.
-
Years of solid service that I think earned them the right to be treated with a bit of respect, very little room for sentiment but neither player is exactly in the knackers yard yet but Gannon treated them like something he trod on and seemed to wish they were elsewhere. Ok McGarry not a lot, a player than even when he briefly looked the part under McGhee has for a long time looked unable to cut it.
-
I'd have reservations about taking back Paterson, to long out of first team picture at Plymouth for a player that was prone to Mcgarryesque weight and fitness issues. If he was fit though then aye I think he's a better full back than Hammell and with greater physical stature less likely to get bullied at set pieces etc. Foran forget him, he started quite well and then got to comfortable and was largely a passenger that tucked away occasional penalty. Keeping be it extending loans or otherwise Ruddy, Jutkiewicz and bringing in a right back would be a start. Moving on McGarry would be good.

Can't disagree with that and whilst I don't think it should ever be forgotten the day to judge John Boyles time at the club is when he has moved on and we see what state we are in. Whatever his motivation since we came out of administration things on the surface seem to be alright mostly. To me that includes both the hiring and firing of Gannon. An interesting appointment that wasn't working.

I would suggest any mentioned fee was always a guess of some sort. I don't recall seeing it anywhere like the official site. Whether it was £250k, 400k, 500k it is still a significant chunk for us to spend. If Gannon thought he could extend the loan and or use similar available funds for 2 or 3 other players he might have been happier. It is just a suggestion, permamently signing Ruddy might have been an all your eggs in one basket scenario when Gannon maybe had other ideas. Who knows, Boyle, Gannon.... -

Rumours are ten a penny but I had similar related to me by someone who normally only passes on reasonably accurate info, fee being £400k but essentially that a deal was in advanced stages. If money was available for that and Gannon thought he could get better use of it elsewhere he'd have good reason to be annoyed. What the exact truth of everything around this affair is I doubt few will ever know but he's away so as well looking forward than backward! -

Eh I'll post back when I can think of something I wouldn't take for granted from pretty much anyone.

If we'd won those games we drew when we should have won them(accies, aberdeen, utd) and had picked up even one win say at the weekend out of the last 4 games we'd not have been sacking the manager contract issues or not. Results are everything in this business and if we were sitting 3rd I don't see us booting the manager contract or not. As it is recent form has made his lack of a contract look like a boon to get rid of a manager with commitment issues, personality issues and with results taking a nosedive little reason to put up with the first two problems. -
How did Ally McLeod do again?
