The pitch is terrible again, and unfair on both sets of players. This has now been the case for the past few seasons so criticism is deserved in my opinion.

Apparently he is going to be speaking on Talksport this morning - the Alan Brazil show.
-
Thought it was quite funny that Brown said "it was beyond our wildest dreams" to win at Pittodrie and that they "weren't at full strength"...quickly followed by "Derek Young was out!"
-
Jeffries up front and Humphries on the right (otherwise known as Jim and John)!!

Did O'Reilly have a bet on a red card last night? Seemed like it to me . The one he gave to Hay was dubious to say the least! Was fed up with him stopping the play, talking to the player and telling him his life story then telling the player to be on his way! In the case where a ref isn't going to book the player, why can't they just let the game continue then on the way past, have a word. Breaking up the play and talking to a player for 2-3 mins then not producing a card is frustrating as hell!

Jenno again, bossed the midfield and consistently shows for the ball, reminds me a lot of Alan McCormack. Had a couple of chances to get shots away however the ball just wouldn't sit for him. In saying that, he made a tremendous run when Murphy put him through and it turned out to be a cracking save from Bell. Amazing how people see the game differently but I thought Jones final ball let him down a lot. I thought ht could have contributed a lot more. Also, plays the game in flashes but he certainly has skill and pace.

I'd like to see him in a couple of more matches to see if he if is actually going to be decent. At times, I think he looks like he has potential then at other times, I think he should be working as a spanish waiter.

SPL is 11pm, the lower leagues are 11.30pm or 12 pm.

Agreed, he's the quickest player I've seen, even quicker than Dave McCabe! Just a pity he doesn't have that belief everytime he attacks a full back. I honestly think if Humphrey believes in himself a bit more, we'd have a fantastic player.

I mean since Craig Brown left. It's hypothetical but I think we would have had the same results under Young if he had have still been in charge. I'm just disappointed I've seen nothing since McCall came. I expected us to be pressing more (based purely on the fact that's the type of player he was), more aggressive, putting pressure on the refs rather than just accept every decision but none of this has happened. I suppose the only thing I've seen is that he doesn't play John Sutton as a left midfielder and gets us to play the long ball.

Who'll be the first to say it................ach well...here goes.......stay away from the ex!!! Seriously though, you're probably right, Motherwell haven't done enough to promote this match in my opinion. Similarly with the recent open forum regarding the changes to the SPL.

Absolutely dreadful performance by both teams last night. Fair enough, the pitch wasn't perfect, however, the ball was in the air every 5 seconds. In saying that, I thought the back 4 and Randolph were solid and St Johnstone wouldn't have scored if they hadn't have been given one of the most ridiculous penalties in the history of the game! On the other hand, as my mate said last night, if we had a bigger squad, a number of those players would have done them out the starting eleven on Sunday. But that's just it, there seems to be a lack of willing to give the fringe players a real chance. A number of players last night didn't give 100%, pulled out of challenges that were in their favour, and the style of football under McCall so far is just absolutely gash to watch. That's now 6 matches he's been in charge and I've yet to see any difference he's made to the team. Of course, it's early days, however, he's brought nothing to the team that a normal punter wouldn't have. So, on Sunday, as a minimum, get Gloria in from the start (bench any of Sutton, Humphrey or Jones, although Jones did have a decent last 30 mins last night) and hopefully Lasley is fit to replace Hateley.

This myth about Derek Adams not swearing is just that...a myth. He swears just like the rest of us...fact.

Plus he's gash, apart from when taking penalties

RIP Pat Played bools with the big guy a few years back and spoke to him at matches in recent seasons. My sympathies go to all his family.

McCall said he wanted to appoint someone who had strengths where he had weaknesses, however, I'm struggling to see how Black meets that criteria. As a player, both were dirty b*stard midfielders therefore I'd have thought their strengths lie in midfield and in aggression. Also, going by the comments made by McCall regarding the appointment, I can't help but think that Black isn't his choice. Just my interpretation mind! Still, best of luck to both of them, here's hoping they prove the majority wrong and I can't wait to see us set up with a 4-6-0 formation

More chance of Healy joining Motherwell than of Sutton going to Rangers!

Aye, summer football is the way to go. I wish all the pundits, managers, chairman would stop going on about a winter f*cking shutdown. You can see them voting in a winter shutdown for January, then we get hit with all the snow in November or December!!! Impossible to predict the most suitable month to shut down so they should just focus on summer football.

It's unbelievable that people can say Pollok was out of his depth last night based on his 15 mins on the park when the whole team was rank rotten. The young guy needs a couple of games to find his feet, just like any other player. To say he is out his depth based on 15 mins is absolutely ridiculous. Last night, apart from 20 mins of the first half, we were absolutely clueless and completely ineffectual. Chris Humphrey is such a frustrating player. He's got pace to burn but has very little belief in his own ability. Last night, he wasn't interested, in fact, he was hiding in my opinion. On the couple of occassions he did attack the full back, he went past him. You can see something is there but his problem comes from a lack of self belief. As for Forbes, I didn't think he was too bad last night. I agree about the opinion of playing him just behind the front two with Lasley and Jennings sitting in behind. It'd certainly be interesting to see how he could cope there.

Don't normally hear of a player who is a striker and also a right back!

John Sutton - his best game in a Well shirt. He must've been sick of playing at left mid.
