Lasley and Jennings both had good games I thought although Jennings miss at the end was a bit of a shocker. I thought the forward players let us down today. In defence we were pretty solid apart from the goal and a couple of mistimed jumps by Reynolds. For me, Craigan was man of the match. Rock solid in defence and put a couple of cracking long balls for a change!

I do agree with you, but Scott Brown gets a game for Scotland.

Jay McEveley has been called up to the squad today so unless there are major injuries, Mark won't be getting the call from Levein.

Casagolda was absolutely dire at Kilmarnock last week so only deserved a place on the bench. Hopefully, he can get his fitness levels up quickly and become the creative player we need, however, I'd very much doubt it! As for Reynolds, the only thing that lets him down is his poor distribution and lack of composure on the ball. Apart from that, he is a very good centre half and never seems to be out-paced.

To me, we've got the Lasley and Jennings the wrong way round. Lasley should be the ball-winner in the middle of the park and Jennings should be trying to link midfield to attack rather than just sitting. We certainly could be doing with someone who has a bit of a spark.

I agree that we miss O'Brien's creativity but these players are hard to come by. Maybe Gow (if he signs) could be that player once he gets fit. In terms of tonight we created enough chances to win the game but just couldn't convert them. It was just one of those nights. As for Coke, he played well in a handful of games. In these games you could see he had quality, however, in too many matches, he looked lazy and contributed very little, so I don't think he is missed. Missed Jennings more than anyone else!

The frustrating point about tonight is that we went out to a team who are no better than us, just that they had Peter Utaka!! If Utaka had been playing against the Odense defence, he'd have scored about 5 tonight. Odense will get well beaten in the group stages unless they sort out that defence. I've never seen a team get caught under the ball so many times since England at the World Cup! If they do tighten up at the back though, they could be a decent side as in midfield and up front, they have players who can change games. The game tonight though reminded me of recent matches against St Mirren!!! Completely dominate then get outdone by 1 player, e.g. Dorman, Corcoran, Mehmet! I wish we had now drawn Man City at that stage!!!

That's ridiculous. We signed Randolph who looks like a decent replacement for Ruddy and Blackman looks like a decent addition, albeit, he missed a couple tonight. In addition, Motherwell have the 2nd highest wages to turnover ratio in the SPL, 2nd only behind Hearts, so finances dictate we can't go spending high wages. We are already approaching the wages to turnover ratio we had when we entered administration! In addition, spending a fortune on some 'quality' players doesn't guarantee you success as proven by Celtic! The game over the two legs was decided on very fine margins, unfortunately they went slightly against us this time. We could play Odense tomorrow night and win quite comfortably.

Aye, will always be predominantly remembered for 'that' goal against Hibs which was one of the best we'll ever see! However, what I liked about Lukas was the fact that he always got his shot away (perfect example was that goal). Whenever he had a slight chance to have a go, he took it. All the best in the Championship and I'm sure we'll hear a lot more about you in the next season.

What's the deal with 3 flights and leaving from Aberdeen? Can we not just fly from Edinburgh to Oslo then Oslo to Alesund with Norwegian Airlines? Looks like the easiest route to me.
